5 Great product for my kitchen!
Posted by Kenneth Gutierrez on Oct 5th 2024
This air fryer has truly revolutionized my cooking experience and quickly become an indispensable part of our kitchen routine. As a vegetarian, finding the perfect way to cook vegetables can sometimes be a challenge, but this gadget has made it incredibly easy and enjoyable. The sleek design and intuitive touchscreen controls are not only stylish but also very user-friendly, making it a breeze to navigate through the various settings. One of the standout features for me is how quickly it heats up and how evenly it cooks. Whether I'm making crispy zucchini sticks, perfectly roasted Brussels sprouts, or golden-brown sweet potato fries, the results are consistently delicious. The 5 preset cooking modes are a game-changer, allowing me to air fry, bake, roast, reheat, and broil with just a touch of a button. This versatility means I can experiment with a wide range of recipes and always achieve great results. My kids have also fallen in love with it. They adore the veggie fries I make, and it's become a fun and healthy part of our meals. It's wonderful to see them enjoying vegetables so much, and I love that I can provide them with tasty, nutritious options without the need for excessive oil. The non-stick basket and removable crisping tray are both dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup a breeze and saves me so much time. Overall, this air fryer combines convenience, efficiency, and style in one fantastic package. It's perfect for anyone looking to enjoy healthier meals without sacrificing flavor or texture. Whether you're a busy parent, a health-conscious individual, or someone who simply loves cooking, this air fryer is a must-have. It's made cooking fun and easy, and I can't imagine my kitchen without it now!

4 Bella Pro Made Me a New Fan of Air Fryers
Posted by Sarah Sanchez on Sep 27th 2024
I've been able to try out a few other brands' air fryers over recent years. For the most part they performed adequately, but I'd come to the conclusion that air fryers, in general, didn't impress me much; they just weren't 'for me.' However, I was willing to give it another try once I saw this new Bella Pro 4qt Slim Air Fryer. For starters, the oatmilk color is different, yet very pleasant. I like that it's not the same black/stainless steel color scheme as most of the air fryers available in stores. This air fryer is also slim in size so it doesn't take up much room on the counter or stored in a cupboard. I really appreciated the size of the basket. It's elongated rather than more square in shape. Also, the crisping tray fits within the basket perfectly. And the interior surfaces of the basket and tray both having the "EverGood ceramic nonstick coating," is a definite plus. Love that! The controls are simple enough to understand. Clean-up is super easy, too, which is nice. And as always, it pays to read over the safety instructions for home appliances such as this, before first use. I've been eating a lot of those dino nuggets (you know the ones), as of late. And I'm not making them for the grandkids, either. I did notice a difference comparing them to how they came out when prepared in this air fryer, versus how they came out when baked in my stove's oven. Unlike the "overly done" bottoms my dino nuggets had from the oven, made in the air fryer they were just the right amount of 'crispy' on the outside, yet warm and moist on the inside. Very good. I also air fried a portion of frozen french fries. They came out nice and crispy on the outside, yet moist and precisely cooked on the inside. Sometimes when I prepare fries in the oven, they come out being overly dark on the bottom, even when I use aluminum foil or parchment paper on the baking sheet. Unfortunately, to me, I did think that the overall build quality of this Bella air fryer wasn't as good as it could have been. Yes, the air fryer is more on the 'lower end' price-wise, but I expected a bit more from this brand. However, the air fryer does perform wonderfully, and that's the main thing.

5 Perfect for quick reheats and easy to clean.
Posted by Juan Douglas on Sep 27th 2024
Unboxing was simple and straight forward. Just plugged it in and cleaned the cooking tray for first use. Pros: • Slim and low use of counter space • Quiet when in use • Ceramic coated interior and tray is easy to clean. • Easy to use • Easier than using microwave for quick reheats or small meals • Cool touch handle is nice to open right after food is cooked. Cons: • Can only cook small portions • Oatmeal color: This was not the best color since it was more of a cream vs the grey it appears in the picture. It did not match anything else in my kitchen. • Slight hallow sound when closing the tray to cook. Overall: The Bella Pro is a nice and compact Air Fryer that was easy to use and cooked my food evenly. I used it to cook some turkey bacon and after 6 min it was crispy and warm. I also made a frozen breakfast sandwich, and it came out evenly warm and crunchy. The ceramic coated tray and inside where easy to clean. I did not have any issues with food sticking to it. Also the handle was cool to the touch when it was done cleaning so I did not have to wait for it to cool. Final thoughts: This is great for a smaller kitchen, apartment, dorm or office break room. I like the fact that it is easier to use than the traditional microwave. It was easy to clean Ceramic tray that was included. I do wish when you slide the cooking tray into the unit that there is an echo from the hollowness of the unit. It feels like there were some cost savings with the build quality, but this has not caused any issues with the performance.

4 Nice Size for Two People - With Extra Functions
Posted by Lisa Wheeler on Sep 24th 2024
I haven’t been very impressed with most of the air fryers I’ve tried in the past. But the oven in the range I purchased recently takes forever to get up to temperature, so I thought I’d give this one a try. It is “slim”, which means it’s long and narrow instead of having a round configuration. The narrow shape does take up less space on the countertop. I could get 3 corn dogs with sticks comfortably on the rack without them touching each other. It might’ve been harder to do that on a round tray. The tray has a finger grip that makes it easy to remove, but the bumpy grip can get in the way when trying to center a large piece of meat. Most of the time cleaning up can be done by wiping with a paper towel or damp cloth. Food doesn’t seem to stick to the tray or to the pan. It is the 4 quart size and only for 1 or 2 servings. In addition to the air fry setting there are broil, bake, roast and reheat. At 1300 watts it doesn’t take long to air fry chicken nuggets. Counting the preheating oven time, they were ready in 10 minutes instead of 40. The bottom of the pan does get very hot, so you have to plan ahead to prepare a place to set the pan when done. Contents have to be checked, turned or shaken half way through the cycle, but there is no “ding” at the halfway mark. I can either set the program at half the time or set it for the full time and use a timer to let me know when it’s time to turn. When I’m not using the default time/temperature setting, it takes some time to re-enter/remember the settings at the halfway mark, so I set it for the full time and use a timer. The constantly flashing power button is annoying. When the air fryer is not in use, the power button flashes continually. The only way to get it to stop is to unplug the unit. Maybe that's what the manufacturer intended, because the instructions do say to store it unplugged and to unplug it when not in use. I’m guessing there is a known safety issue with leaving it plugged in, so even though it’s more convenient to leave it plugged in, I should probably follow the instructions and unplug it. I’ve been pleased with the results using the air fryer setting, although the default time of 18 minutes seems long for a unit this size. 2 servings of most foods air fry in less than 12 minutes. The broil default is 10 minutes. 3 hot dogs broiled in 5 minutes. I’ve had to lower the time setting every time. The reheat function worked OK, but not for pizza. Pizza came out soggy. Air fry might’ve worked better. I’m trying to figure out how and when to use the bake, roast and broil settings, since the instructions are vague. What can I cook on the bake setting, since a 4 quart air fryer isn’t big enough to bake cookies, bread or cake? I’ll still have to use my oven for that. It could be that the additional settings are just different default time/temp and maybe fan speeds. It would be nice if the instructions had an explanation of the non-air fryer settings and maybe some recipes as examples. Overall, I’m pleased with this little air fryer and I think I’ll be using it a lot.

4 Versatile And Affordable Air Fryer
Posted by Brianna Caldwell on Sep 21st 2024
Over the years I have had the opportunity to use several air fryers. While they all do pretty much the same thing, each one has it's unique qualifications that make it a little different from the others, whether that be simple single knob controls, advanced touchscreen controls, muli-use availability or dual/quad cooking area's. This bella PRO - 4-qt. Touchscreen Slim Air Fryer offers the advanced digital controls and multi-use (as mentioned above), but is also offers a unique cooking surface that bella calls EverGood ceramic in the cooking "basket". The Evergood ceramic (in my testing) offered a few nice features: the cooking was even, the food did not stick and it made for simple clean up. Regarding cleanup, the basket is dishwasher safe, but the EverGood ceramic made wiping out grease when it was there to assure a great clean. As for use, I mean it's an air fryer. It's simple to use, intuitive and looks great. For multi-use, you can use it as an air fryer, you can bake, reheat, broil and roast. One of the times we use air fryers is during Thanksgiving, Chrstmas and large gatherings. We can pull out the airfryers that we have and cook different foods at different times and tempuratures. It also saves having to fire up the 220 volt oven for longer periods of time. The convenience is great! The only drawback (if you can call it that) is that it tops out at 400 degrees. I know, that should be enougyh for most applications, but sometimes you need 450, 500 or even rarely, 550. That said, that is really the only place I could find to critique. If you are in need of a versatile and affordable air fryer, this is a great choice. End of the day, I would certainly reccomend to a friend!

5 Must have for the home, office or dorm
Posted by Molly Smith on Sep 19th 2024
The bella Pro air fryer in the oatmilk flavor (cream colored) is a handsome kitchen device to help prepare your meals. An air fryer is a rather simple device that we can't live without. So many quick packaged meals can be made without turning on the oven, stove, or microwave. The premise is simple: a heating element and a fan to blow hot air around to cook your food while using less oil than trying to fry deep-fried items. Modern air fryers not only fry but also ‘bake’, ‘roast’, ‘broil’, and ‘reheat’. In effect, those are just temperature settings, and if you want a true broil, you are better off in an oven as most air fryers only go up to 400f and searing requires a bit more heat. I found the air fryer reheating food mode effective (up to 250f) in making sure your food does not have a second life at being cooked. I was able to reheat samosas without worry, and it tasted great. We use an air fryer to do anything from chicken nuggets, reheating samosas, grilling asparagus or Brussel sprouts, making grilled cheese sandwiches, and baking cornish hen. When we first unboxed the unit, I marveled that the unit was actually shaped as a rectangle on the long side and could technically hold two burgers versus the other round-shaped air fryer baskets in the 4 qt sized category. I also loved that the metal basket is flat-bottomed with a slick coating. It seems this Bella air fryer basket and its drip tray (crisping tray) has a slick ceramic coating which they call “everGood”. It helps not to have food stick as most other air fryers I’ve used are just stamped metal basket that are painted. I intentionally left the grilled cheese sandwich in the crisping tray to bake in the ambient heat - taking out the excess cheese off the drip tray was so easy; it's amazing why the other older air fryer that this is replacing does not have this coating. If anything, that flat-bottomed rectangular basket with a slick ceramic coating is the reason I own it. During the initial run of this air fryer, I marveled at its quietness; the fan is incredibly quiet. The unit is well built with a touchscreen control up front that is easy to use - there are only a few touch screen controls, set the time and temperature and hit start. It couldnt be simpler. I found no ‘smells’ associated with its first initial run after I had washed the basket and crisping drip tray, which was a bonus. I was surprised to find the entire unit feels so light without the metal basket in place despite its solid construction. The air fryer heating element is exposed once you remove the fry basket. While it is neatly tucked away above the fry basket, its location makes it difficult to load larger items that may touch the heating element and stick to the element. A quiet fan behind the heating element re-circulates hot air to cook your food quickly. The fan does a pretty good job of evenly cooking food despite the odd-shaped basket, and heating element. I cooked some chicken nuggets and overfilled it beyond one layer and 18 minutes later, it still came out cooked perfectly. Overall, this is a good choice for a simple-to-use air dryer for your home, office, or dorm. It works well, is quiet, looks fancy, and is easy to maintain. Pros: Quiet blower fan, effective in heating the odd-shaped basket Ceramic coating on the metal air fryer basket and crisping tray - makes easy cleanups Cons: The exposed heating element, thats right above the food - so you cannot overfill the basket.

4 Hot Stuff for the Small space
Posted by Lisa Fisher on Sep 14th 2024
Air Fryers, there are so many options out there. For the space conscious or tight space this one is going to be perfect. If you are cooking for more then 2 people, then you may loose some of the benefits. So first, it's size. It is slim in width, and uses length to make up for some of that. So it is deeper than my previous air fryer, but not nearly as wide. So to cook the same amount of food, need to stack it a little more, and have to shift it around. (This was with French Fries and Battered Green Beans) Since we were familiar with Air Fryer usage, having to shift the food mid-cook, was familiar, so not an issue there... but we had to work with it a few times, to get the right mount of food in there for a consistent cook through. The results were good with both the fries and greenbeens, both were crispy and hot. And had a good clean taste on them (since we didn't add anything to it). VERY easy to set the temperature and start the cook. We then have used it a few times to do some quick cooks and reheats... Our standards in the house are the Chicken Nuggets (two different types), and re-heated left overs (mostly Pizza). The Nuggets cooked quick and through (but they were pre-cooked ones, so only can confirm they were hot and crispy). Pizza, as usual, cheese gets warm, the bottom crust was warm, but wouldn't say it re-crisped up. Bottom line: It is a good air-fryer for the price point. Especially if you have a smaller space. Couple other nit-picks, didn't come with a silicone insert for the tray, so be cautious on items that can create a mess or leak out. We haven't found one yet for it. There are multiple "points" right in the inside of the drawer. hit those a couple times while washing, so be cautious.

5 Perfect for busy moms

With a newborn, time has been very limited for me. The bella PRO Air Fryer helps me save time in the kitchen by reducing cooking times and simplifying the cleanup process. This means more quality time with my baby and less stress. The first thing that caught my eye was the sleek, modern design. The Oatmilk color is absolutely stunning and perfectly complements my kitchen cabinets. And I love how compact it is! It fits perfectly in my small kitchen. One of the standout features of this air fryer is the EverGood ceramic coating. It's non-stick and free of harmful chemicals, making it a healthier choice for my family. The rapid food release technology ensures that my meals cook evenly and quickly. Cleanup is a breeze, too. The basket and tray are dishwasher safe, so I can spend less time scrubbing and more time enjoying my precious little one. Another thing I noticed and loved about the bella PRO Air Fryer is its user-friendly touchscreen. It is right to the point, simple and easy to navigate. If you're a busy mom, looking for a way to simplify your life and cook healthier meals, I highly recommend the bella PRO Air Fryer.
