5 Air Frying Made Simple
Posted by Jonathan Patel on Oct 31st 2024
The Corsori Pro Gen 2 5.8qt Smart Air Fryer has made air frying to me super simple. I changed how I fry meals over the past year in order to make food much more healthy. My previous air fryer was very basic and did a pretty good job. As I've gotten better at the using an air fryer I've wanted to up grade and this beautiful piece of cookware came along. Upon opening up the well packaged Corsori air fryer I was immediately impressed. It's well built and comes with just what you need to cook many different meals with out compromise. This includes a skewer rack with skewers, in my opinion this is above and beyond. Not to mention its a good looking fryer. What makes this Smart air fryer one that you'll want to get is all the well thought out settings and the ability to connect it to your smart device via the VeSync app. This app is a game changer. I enjoy being able to look up recipes via my smart and preparing them with this air fryer. I was able to monitor the progress and even know when I needed to interact with it or take it out from another room. I'm more than impressed with the Cosori air fryer and will be using it often and for a long time to come. After a week of use I'm convinced that any other air fryer will leave me lacking the versatility of this one. I definitely recommend giving this air fryer a try. You won't be sorry.

5 Air Fryer's make life easy...
Posted by Jonathan Franco on Oct 21st 2024
This is the perfect air fryer for a single guy up to 3 people. Of course what was the first thing I cooked, cheese sticks of course. My buddies came over and we tried it out. Perfect, almost as perfect as deep fried. The Cosori-Pro Gen 2 is a great little machine. Probably the best part is the shake reminder, it ensures you get evenly cooked fries and other things that you need to be crispy. I even tried the brussel sprout recipe, yeah, they turned out awesome. Inside the box you get a user guide, recipe ideas and a quick/faq guide. That combined with the VeShync app and you have great tools to never have to turn on your oven again, unless you are cooking for a party, even then this little thing is a great tool. After cooking clean up is very simple, the vented basket separates from the bowl. Both are teflon/non stick and clean up is a breeze. The button to separate the baskets is protected by a clear plastic slide to prevetnt an accidental press, not sure that is the best option but we will see how it holds up. The ONLY complaint I have is that the bowl has a lot of little areas where water takes forever to drip out of and when you wash/rinse to use for another part of the same meal it can get messy.

5 Easy to use and convenience of in app recipes
Posted by Benjamin Moody on Oct 16th 2024
This air fryer is a healthier way to cook food, especially traditionally cooked with a lot of oil. With it, cooking requires very little to almost no cooking oil, and you can even make it better by using healthier oils, like olive or avocado. The Cosori has many functions on the front panel, making cooking more effortless. For the presets button, turn on the unit, select the preset needed, adjust temperature and time, and press start. Also, if you are using the app (smart Wi-Fi) following the recipe (with video clips of each step), you can choose via smartphone when to start and end; you get a notification of the cooking process. My favorite preset/option is to make bacon because it gets cooked evenly without being burnt, and you don’t have to worry about oil splashing everywhere. Any oil in the air fryer keeps contained, so there is no more messy stove top. The external dimension, 10.75-inch wide x 12-inch height x 12-inch depth, does make this product convenient to store and use over any countertop. The measurement of the inner basket is 9 in x 9 in x 3.5in. The power cord is long enough, 3 feet long, to reach most kitchen plugs. Cleaning the outer and inner baskets is easy with regular dish soap and water. To make it easier for the cleaning process, I reheat the dirty empty baskets for a couple of minutes, and all the burnt food items/greasy come out very quickly with paper towels. And then I wash it with soap and water. I also tried making “fried” sweet plantains - a favorite in my home - and it turned out so good!! I cut the plantains into slices, put them in the air fryer, and added just a bit of oil. I shook it once to let them thoroughly cook, and they were ready within minutes! I loved it because it saved me time and oil. Overall, this is a good air fryer with a feature that works with a smartphone to help you cook healthier food with easy-to-follow recipes. In the long run, you will be healthier and save money from eating out and using less oil for cooking meals.

5 An Air Fryer With Wifi... Very Nice!
Posted by Megan Garcia on Oct 16th 2024
Sometimes for lack of time or energy, cooking does not seem like the most fun option, but I'm hungry so I must do it, well in these cases it seems almost a salvation to have an Airfryer, you do not need to use oil, or at least not in quantities that can be dangerous to health, the process can take less time than when cooking the traditional way, it is easy to clean, has a variety of options for cooking almost anything and also has wifi connection to connect to the phone with the VeSync app, something interesting. There are a few steps to take before you can use the air fryer for the first time, one of them is the connection to your phone, it's actually very simple just download the VeSync app, create an account and follow the instructions. I believe that the manual has a lot of valuable information that is important to read in its entirety before the first use. Regarding the performance of the Airfryer I must say that there is nothing bad to say or add, it is a device that does what it has to do and it does it effectively, we must be clear, you just need to have more attention and care when the time and temperature is concerned, because each food is cooked many times at different temperatures and times, regarding this the app has many very interesting recipes that when selecting one shows the details such as ingredients and preparation mode, as well as the necessary settings in relation to time and temperature. When selecting a recipe or setting from the app you must press the start button from the Air Fryer, for safety and by law can not be started from the phone. The app not only suggests recipes but also information regarding health, there is a Health Tracker and Wieght Management section which I think is a great proposal by the company, not only worry about eating tasty dishes but to eat healthy, also has a section of Diet and Community, a store tab where you can buy more products of the brand if desired, I consider an app with valuable information and very useful in some cases. I have cooked with other Air Fryers and the experience is very similar, however adding the ability to connect by wifi the Air Fryer is a plus that is worth it, not only for the control you have of the air fryer but for all the other options and valuable information regarding health and also their good recipes, recommended.

5 A Must Have for Any Kitchen!
Posted by Ian Vasquez on Oct 14th 2024
The Size of the Air Fryer is compact and fits on any Counter Top. After washing and drying the bucket out and doing a first burn. Set up was very easy. I loaded up some leftovers just to see how this cooked. Within 5 minutes everything was hot and crisp. Not dry or burnt like an oven does. Homemade Fries are a treat now. They are so easy to make with this Air Fryer. Porkchops also cooked very fast. They were flavorful and not dried out. This thing cooks blazing fast and will have your kitchen smell good when it's cooking! It has Pre-Sets based on what you are cooking. The French Fry Pre-Set comes in handy because there is a shake feature that will go off halfway. When your meal is done the alarm that goes off which can be heard from a good distance. It does come with an app. It functions and works well. I just don't need WIFI or an app while Cooking. It came with a cookbook that had all kinds of recipes! There are some small negatives to this. Sometimes the pushed buttons don't register. It doesn't occur often. Each time you click a button there is a Beep. Man, that gets very annoying! Sometimes it's hard getting your food out because the basket is hot! So make sure you get a good set of food Tongs! This Air Fryer has already replaced my Conventional Oven! Also, it's not loud or anything. You can still do other things and not even know this thing is on!

4 Versatile, connected Fryer gets meals squared away
Posted by Jessica Welch on Oct 7th 2024
Air Fryers have been out for a while now. They help keep food crispy with less oil and nearly as much taste compared to deep fried food. This one adds an extra connection to the standard appliance: WifFi! As an Air Fryer, it does a good job. Foods come out cooked evenly. I prepared a variety of frozen foods and they all cooked through without any cool spots. It was fast as well. There’s an option to pre-heat the Fryer, which saves some time in cooking, but not enough if you already have the food prepped. There’s a few things which make this more convenient than the air fryer my parents have: The food basket is square instead of round. This allows more food to fit in a layer and to allow more space between the foods. There are fins around the outside to direct the airflow all around. The basket stays locked to the food drawer when serving. They can be separated after it all cools for easy cleaning. Both are made with non-stick metal There’s a “keep warm” function which helps when not all your food is ready at the same time. The fryer displays 170 degrees which is warm enough that the food stays crispy without cooking it further. Setting the time and temperature are fairly easy. There’s an app which allows for saving recipes and quickly setting the fryer to the right time and temperature. The fryer communicates back when food is ready or ready to be shaken halfway through the cycle. There’s also several presets for various foods which can help when you’re in a hurry. Per the manual, these presets can be updated to YOUR favorite recipes. Unfortunately, I never was able to get that feature to work. The size is just right for my family of 4. Especially with the squared off basket, I can fit the tater tots, chicken nuggets, french fries, or egg rolls that I need. There are presets for bacon, shrimp, chicken, steak, vegetables, and more. I hope to expand beyond frozen, prepared foods after a while. Especially during the summer, it looks to be more energy efficient and it won’t heat up the kitchen as much as using the big oven. It’s also nice that it automatically shuts off to prevent over cooking the food. It’s non-stick surface is easy to clean up with a bit of soap and water. I haven’t had to scrub anything, despite the heat being on the side of oven temperatures. Just wait until after you eat for it to cool off. The manual says it’s dishwasher safe. Personally, I just hand wash things that big as they take up too much space in the rack, especially since it’s so easy. The heating element is directly exposed. Over time, it has the potential to pick up some grease from the foods. This should be minimal as the fan is above the element and the air pushes any oil down into the pan. Overall, it works really well. I wouldn’t buy it just for the WiFi, as that doesn’t add much to the experience. It does hurt though, and it supports the other functions. If it hadn’t advertised being able to re-set the presets, it wouldn’t have bothered me. As is, I don’t like when promises aren’t delivered on. Since it’s WiFi connected, I’m hoping a future firmware upgrade will allow the controls to work as intended and this can become all that it can be.

4 Good, but not flawless
Posted by Julie Romero on Oct 1st 2024
I've owned 3 air fryers so far with various functions and designs. The Cosori Pro Gen 2 Smart Air Fryer sets itself apart by offering a smart function which is why I wanted one so badly. The fryer comes packaged in a nice box. It comes with a couple of accessories, a VERY nice cookbook and the usual documents (quick start guide, warranty card, aso). You can download the app by scanning a QR code which allows you to set the WIFI up for the fryer and will let you remotely control the device (not every function, but the most essential ones). Now, I'm usually rather lenient when it comes to build, design and material quality. But in this specific case, I have a couple of things to say. The entire unit is made of plastic which tries to look like a brushed black metal. Needless to say that it's a fingerprint magnet. The sliding piece of transparent plastic which is meant to remove the cooking basket feels wobbly and does look like it could break at any time. The heat dissipation is located in the back and blows the hot air out, which means it can't be put against a wall or under cabinet space. Last but not least, re-inserting the basket takes a bit of strength until it snaps back in. On the brighter side, this air fryer is surprisingly nice to cook with. I have tried several simple things such as a mini pizza, fries, chicken strips and more, and the results were great. I believe the even heat distribution is excellent. The smart features are amazing time savers, you can check the remaining time and the temps as well as other options. I can't even begin to tell how convenient it is. Another very positive point is the size of the cooking basket which allows to cook more in one batch. All in all, I would recommend this air fryer, but you should really keep in mind that it comes with downsides. But if you want a nice sized air fryer which you can control without having to quit what you are doing, this will work just fine.

5 The Must having Cooking Device
Posted by Laura Martinez on Sep 22nd 2024
The Cosori Pro Gen 2 5.8 qt Smart Air Fryer is a must buy for any novice chef that's wanting to cook more and who wants to make delicious, crispy fried food without the extra calories and unhealthy oils. One of the best features of this air fryer is its large 5.8-quart capacity, which is a perfect size for cooking for a small family. It's great for making juicy chicken, crispy French fries, and roasted vegetables. The non-stick basket is easy to clean and dishwasher safe, which is great for easy clean up. The Cosori Pro Air Fryer has a bunch of smart features that makes cooking even more convenient. It has a touch interface with preset cooking options for a variety of foods, including chicken, fish, shrimp, French fry fries and a defrosting mode for frozen foods. Another great feature is its Wi-Fi connectivity through the VeSync app, which allows you to control the air fryer using the app on your phone. This is great in that you can preheat it straight from your phone, and you will receive a notification when it's ready. Another great feature is the shake button which will send you a notification when there's 50% left on the timer letting you know it's time to flip/shake the food. One nitpick of the air fryer is that it can be a little noisy when in use. This is a trade off one makes when choosing to cook with any air fryers. Overall, the Cosori Pro Gen 2 5.8 qt Smart Air Fryer is an excellent appliance for anyone who loves delicious, healthy fried food. Its large capacity, smart features, and easy-to-clean design make it a great investment for any home cook.

4 Used Regularly In My Kitchen
Posted by Robert Wang on Sep 12th 2024
You have two choices for how you use the device. If you wish you can connect it via the Vsync App (which is not required). Setup for the app is extremely easy as you can scan a QR code on the top of the device which takes you directly to the app, sign up for it, then it walks you through the rest of the process. The app is limited in how much you can control the unit itself but is helpful when looking up additional recipes or tracking cooking time (which sends you alerts on progress and flipping). Or you can just skip that completely (which is what I did) and use it via the buttons on the unit itself. It has several presets which makes it easy to select what you want. Or if you want full control you can do a custom temperature and cook time. The preheat option (which at sea level) took about 2 – 3 minutes to get to about 380 - 400 degrees. Which was quick. Last, there is a keep warm option (preset is at 120 degrees). I found that the 12 presets were a nice guideline that streamlined the process, as I often didn’t have to look at the recipe booklet for the correct temp and cook time and instead could just press a single button (after preheating) and I was good to go. I did find that depending on what I was cooking and if it was frozen or not that the amount of time it took to cook would vary quite a bit (from the preset), often being generous on the time as things cook FAST. I just made sure to check it a few times throughout the cooking process to ensure it wasn’t overcooked. I found each time I used it that the food came out with the correct consistency, flavor, moistness, and “crunch”. I especially enjoyed it for reheating certain food such as fries. Which it does quickly, and they come out often better than at a restaurant. The basket itself is large making it easy to cook plenty of food in one go. Overall build quality is good. I think it is a very sleek looking device that fits in a modern kitchen with the sleek black brushed look. It is very conscious about the space it takes up being just slightly larger than the cooking pan itself width wise. It does get slightly warm to the touch on the sides when using. Cooling off time is average as there isn’t anything special that helps it cool down faster or notify you that it is still warm (except for you feeling the heat). Buttons themselves feel good and are responsive. Display is clear and easy to read. However, power button stays lit when device is off, when the pan is removed it has multiple lights that stay on, and the blinking Wi-Fi network indication can be annoying. The beeps are loud which makes it easy to hear but can also be annoying. My only real compliant is the pull to release for the basket feels cheap and isn’t as premium as I like. Especially, since the unit itself is very light so you need to hold it in place when removing. The handle has a piece of plastic on the top that is free floating for safety which also comes across cheap. But release from the top basket and the bottom basket feels great, as does reattaching it. Clean-up is simple and quick.
