5 Grind and Brew
Posted by Zachary Nolan on Dec 11th 2024
My 3rd grind and brew. Only problem I’ve had is the electronics fail. First unit lasted 4 years. Last unit lasted 16months. Hope this one lasts longer. Great coffee maker nonetheless.

5 Excellent combinatjon
Posted by Barbara Zhang on Dec 10th 2024
Recently purchased this grind and brew machine. First off we love how we don’t have to grind our beans separately and one less machine to keep on the counter. The auto brew feature works great. By the time we wake up and showered, the coffee is already brewed. Since it grinds the beans right before brewing, the noise from the grinder is a friendly reminder to wake up if I oversleep or hit the snooze too many times. We are looking at buying a second to keep on hand since these styles seem to becoming less and less common.

3 Cooks the Coffee :(
Posted by Erika Morris on Dec 7th 2024
I'm not sure if mine is a unique case, but I haven't been happy with the coffee this machine brews from the very beginning. After trying many brands and regions of coffee beans, I've deduced that this machine is heating the water so much that it's making all the coffee taste the same bland, ashy cooked way. I looked to see if there was a way to adjust the heat and don't believe there is. I love that thete is a burr grinder built in because I felt the taste of freshly brewed coffee would be worth the noise in the morning however I feel this machine costs way too much for the very mediocre coffee it produces. Also, I believe the boiling water makes a mess of the coffee basket and filter bc it seems to be hitting the filter in a steam and boiling water combo. Will look to troubleshoot with the geek squad crew or eturn for a better product. Giving it 3 rather than 2 stars in case my machine's is just faulty.

5 Nice Upgrade.
Posted by Kevin Jones on Dec 4th 2024
I have used the Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffee Makers for over 20 years. Cuisinart has always produced quality small appliances. But this new and improved DGB-800 Cuisinart - Burr Grind & Brew 12-Cup Coffee Maker is the best to date. It automatically dispenses the right amount of coffee directly in the brew filter with no separate grinder to clean. Just rinse the coffee pot and filter basket and you're done. The quality of the Burr grind makes the coffee taste great.

4 Once you dial it in, it’s a good cup of Joe!
Posted by Emily Colon DVM on Nov 29th 2024
The first one we purchased was defective and did not make coffee the first time used. It just beeped. Second unit is working fine. We brew a 12 cup pot each day, we dial the grind down to 8 and set strength and makes a good cup of coffee. You need to adjust the grind and strength to your liking. We feel the recommendations uses more beans than needed.

5 Easy to use, Coffee Flavor MUCH better than Keurig
Posted by Steven Brown on Nov 12th 2024
This is an excellent coffee machine. I enjoy a good cup of coffee and was waiting for my Keurig to break before investing in a new machine. I found this one online and compared it to other machines including new model Keurig machines. What drew me to this one was the self grinding and brewing. It grinds the coffee right before brewing, which makes coffee taste its best. Cleanup is super easy, not as easy as Keurig but worth the extra minute. I also spend less on coffee. If you like a good cup of joe, this machine blows Keurig out of the water.

Makes the perfect cup of coffee, every time. The taste is much smoother and richer with this burr grinder than a traditional blade grinder.

5 Better Then The More Expensive Model
Posted by Jason Patterson on Nov 6th 2024
Absolutely love this grind and brew! I originally had the more expensive model which wore out after many years. I reluctantly decided to purchase this model because the more expensive model had doubled in price. I absolutely love this model so much better. The brewed coffee is perfect. The machine cleans itself. The grinder is loud but not as loud as the more expensive model. The only bummer for me is that the coffee pot isn't thermal. But it's a very small trade off to save $200 dollars.
