We've been using coffee percolators for 15 years. We've been through 3 Farberware 12 cups in that time and the quality has been steadily deteriorating with every purchase and use. Having return the 4th replacement to Macys it was refreshing to buy this Cuisinart model which is clearly back to the quality we expect. Great perc time, efficient heating, elegant pouring spout and above all a really strong and lasting build quality. For sure we won't be going back to Farberware especially as the price was less as well.

Had to replace my old percolator and I ended up picking the right one, my coffee is hot again and it is also more attractive.

Love the percolator! I drink a lot of coffee in a day and the percolator makes 12 decent size cups and keeps my coffee hot even when unplugged.

My old Farberware Perk Pot died - I went with this Cuisinart and am glad I did. Brews up to 12 cups - keeps the coffee hot. Nice change from drip machines and K -Cups

Just so wonderful to plug it in and have coffee in a matter of minutes . I have worn out three so far . They are great. If you put glass top on it it would last even longer!

Love the shape! Handle is comfortable. The spout allows for easy pouring. Coffee is nice and hot.

Excellent product. All stainless steel, so no hot water going through plastic into your coffee. Works perfectly, very hot perfect coffee in about five minutes. Stays fresh longer in this pot than in the plastic drip makers. Also, Best Buy had the best price by a large margin. Can't go wrong buying this from Best Buy.

3 Corrosion at the heating element

My first Cuisinart PRC-12 percolator was delivered in December 2020. I really like the product but I’m experiencing corrosion at the heating element nut. I’ve been working with the Cuisinart customer service (they are EXCEPTIONALLY helpful). They have sent me two replacement units thus far. The problem is each unit has the same corrosion issue. Around 14 days corrosion begins and after around 40 days the corrosion is bad. I keep hoping the next replacement won’t corrode as I really like this unit. It’s important to note that I rinse EVERY piece with fresh water after EVERY use then dry them.
