Features
The world's most powerful robot vacuum¹ 2x the suction of any other robot vacuum.¹
Sucks up more than any other robot on all floors² Dyson's first brush bar to combine three ways to deep clean. Engineered with a wide diameter to reduce long hair and pet hair tangling.
Control your clean or let your Dyson robot do it for you Choose between four power modes: Auto, Boost, Quick, and Quiet. In Auto mode, the 360 Vis Nav robot vacuum automatically adapts suction power to debris level³
Unlike side sweepers that flick dirt away, Dyson sucks up dirt right to the edge of your wall An automatic extending side duct redirects suction that's powerful enough to capture debris right up to the wall.
Cleans far. Cleans fast. An 11.8-inch brush bar covers more floor with every sweep, and Quick mode prioritizes speedy cleans. Up to 65 minutes of run time, before automatically recharging, ready to clean again.⁴
Intelligent. Independent. Sees where it needs to clean and remembers where it's been – just like you would. With 26 sensors, 360° navigation, a low-profile design, and dual-link suspension, it reaches far and avoids getting stuck.
Clean. Wherever you are. Set-up requires connection to the MyDyson app. This unlocks your robot’s intelligent features – mapping your home, choosing cleaning modes for each room, setting areas to avoid, smart scheduling, and clean time estimates.
Whole-machine HEPA filtration Dyson's fully sealed HEPA filtration system traps dust and seals in 99.99% of particles as small as 0.1 microns –including allergens and pet dander.⁵
Protects your data Dyson is committed to ensuring that your personal information is protected and never misused. The robot's camera spots shapes and contrasts within your home, but will never save, record, or send any images.
Hassle-free care. Comes with a 2-year warranty and lifetime Dyson support. Gives maintenance alerts and receives automatic software updates over Wi-Fi with the latest Dyson functionality and features.
¹Suction testing based on ASTM F558 at the inlet loaded to bin full, in Boost mode.
²Straight-line pick-up performance based on market average, across three surface types, based on IEC 62885-7 and 62885-4, in Boost mode against robot vacuum markets (sales data from Jan 2021 to Dec 2021).
³Suction power automatically reacts in Auto mode only. Microscopic dust is defined as particles smaller than 100 microns.
⁴In Quiet mode, in an unobstructed environment.
⁵Tested per ASTM F3150 in Boost mode. Allergens refers to non-living material.
⁷Suction testing based on ASTM F558 at the inlet loaded to bin full, in Boost mode.

    Big Disappointment

Posted by Christina West on Oct 25th 2024

I am a big Dyson fan. I have owned three of their vacuums, five different sizes of fans, and some hair dryers… so when they introduced a robot vacuum, I jumped on the purchase. I was disappointed from the moment I connected the app to the machine. It took an hour to map 1600sf living space. It took an hour and a half to charge the battery On a boost setting, it took 15 minutes to clean half of the ordinary rug, and then it recharged the battery for another hour and a half to clean the other half. The estimate to clean one rug was 1 hour and 39 minutes on the boost setting You cannot follow where the machine is cleaning once it is on the go. There is no info on how much battery is used while the machine is cleaning. While cleaning the rug, I lost connection with the machine several times. I have a one-gig internet connection with a Mash system router and never lose connection on other devices. The only good thing is that it cleans like an upright vacuum—it picks up everything. It also goes where most robot vacuums can't because it is not as high as the others. Unfortunately, this is a big miss for Dyson. I would not mind spending an hour mapping the house, but the battery life for cleaning is horrible. This robot vacuum is not for my household.

    I wanted to love it

Posted by Ryan Martin on Oct 25th 2024

I wanted to love this product. I love all Dyson stuff, and all in all this was actually a good robot vacuum. In fact, it was great at suction, but the price makes it so that it needs to do more than that. The navigation was actually not bad (it uses a different process than most which is why people probably though it was bad in other reviews), the app is OK, the design, bin, brush roll, side suction, filter, etc were all great. The screen on the top was not the best, but also did give a lot of information and options. All in all, it again comes down to the price. For this price, you can get a lot more in the industry. Now I wanted to love this vac just for the Dyson brand and suction power and all the other positives, but I couldn't bring myself to pay what I did (almost double a comparable vac) just for those things.

Best vacuum I have ever used. Does a great job and looks great compared to other ugly and boring robots out there

    Confused Robot

Posted by Brian Villarreal on Oct 2nd 2024

Terrible intelligence so far. Mapped the house, sent it to clean a room, and it left the docked, did a few circles and then returned to home without cleaning.

Worst robot vacuum I have used

Posted by Alex Evans on Oct 1st 2024

Purchased and returned in one week. The mapping, suction, noise, battery life, and "vision" features are way behind the curve. Do not plan on running it at night, the unit needs to constantly light ita surroundings to navigate and the unit produces insane levels of noise compared to every other neato, Roomba and Eufy ive owned. Mapping is atrocious, it failed to proper map our floor after several attempts. The $600 eufy i just picked up maps without a stupid light, recognizes cords, sox, and other obstacles, and empties itself, all 100% reliably for 15 runs so far. Dyson missed by a long long ways

    Meh...

Posted by Mr. Ryan Kidd on Oct 1st 2024

Just ok. For the money this was a disappointment and I did return it. My favorite feature was that Best Buy was great at taking it back and crediting my card. Underwhelmed for a Dyson and the price, didnt really pick up like i had expected it to.

    Love it

Posted by Bobby Arias on Sep 27th 2024

Works great... better than expected... the main drawback is that it takes forever 1 hour per 1000s/f and 90 min to recharge also doesn't self empty ....but does a great job

The only robot that picks up Newfoundland fur

Posted by Miranda Kennedy on Sep 18th 2024

This is truly min/maxed for cleaning performance above all else. I've tried all of the other major brands, including the ones certified for long hair, and none could pick up the long Newfoundland fur we have (which might as well be coated in scotchgard). Its navigation is average, the battery life is short, it doesn't self-empty, but it's the only robot vacuum where I don't need to run another vacuum periodically to pick up fine dust, let alone the dog fur. It's definitely not for everybody, but if you want a thorough clean in a robot, this is the only way to go.
