Most powerful vacuum i have ever owned. I have the cordless Dyson but can never keep it charged long enough to clean the house.

This is my first Dyson and I love it. I have an Australian Shepherd puppy and within the first year of having her, I was overwhelmed with the amount of dog hair accumulating in our house. My old Shark was not cutting it. The Dyson Ball Animal 3 has been a game changer! The accessories are helpful and the overall power of the vacuum is awesome. It’s heavy and it takes some gusto to push it around. After my first time going through the whole house (I was excited), my lower back was a little sore. But it’s worth it, my house is clean!

Works amazing no hair gets stuck in the beater bar, whether it's human or pet hair. Great suction power like most all dyson products. Easy to clean as well.

Great Vacuum, no more words, there’s nothing else to say, just buy it!! I tried other models and got tangled hair at the roll but the animal 3 none AT ALL! Greatest vacuum I’ve ever tried! PS: I kept searching a lot to make sure which model to buy it and got one on wholesale club for $279 but the roll wasn’t the one that cleans itself. The only difference between the regular, extra and complete is the number of the attachments that comes extra with the vacuum, no differences at all on the suction and all the rest

I bought this to replace my animal 3 and this wasn’t a disappointment at all. I love this vacuum. Runs great has great suction and the no tangle roller is a real thing. No more cutting hair off the roller with scissors ever again. Great vacuum all the way around. Thanks

Golden Retriever hair is no match for this monster! Cat hair is no match for this monster! Even my hair is no match for this monster. Twice a week every week for 3 years so far. Great machine!

I had been wanting to get the Dyson Ball Animal vacuum line for years! I had been using a Shark Ion vacuum, which is great for small spaces, but not very powerful. So when I finally got the Dyson soon after I moved, I couldn't have been more estatic. It's not as easy to handle as my Shark, but boy does it clean!!! The suction is insanely powerful, picking up dust that the shark could never pick up even after several runovers. It's big, but not as heavy as I thought it would be. It's corded, but the cord is so long that it I can vacuum my entire first floor of the townhome from one outlet. A retractable cord would be very nice, but other than that, this really is an amazing vacuum overall! I will say that the suction hose is a bit stiff to maneuver though, but not too bad once you get used to it. Also, getting the vacuum to stand on its own is a bit flimsy, I hope they improve this with future iterations. Overall, I highly recommend! These Dyson vacuums always go on sale for about $100 off every few months, definitely worth the wait!

Spent 90 minutes watching YouTube videos researching modern vacuums when I got tired of our ancient vacuums from the 90s that no longer even have bags for them. We have pets that shed like nobody’s business and carpet throughout the house that is discolored purely from the amount of animal hair in the carpet. After getting this vacuum home and assembling, I was blown away by the very first pass on our area rug, first of all this vacuum weighs between 15-18lbs (heavy for a vacuum but not unreasonably heavy) and when off rolls over floor with ease, however when I turned it on for the first time I swear it felt like the vacuum instantly weighed 35-40lbs due to the incredible suction! This was the first time I felt like vacuuming could become a workout, (of course you can adjust the height settings to make everything easier if you don’t need as deep and close of a clean). But what really impressed me was the first pass over the rug took it from a charcoal grey to almost Vantablack in the first pass. On top of all this, the roller detangling design is no gimmick even with this crazy amount of pet hair the roller never clogged or got tangled with hair. This vacuum has hands down been the best quality vacuum I have ever purchased or used in my 20+ years of vacuuming experience! May be a little pricey but absolutely worth every penny! Short of installing a jet engine in home vacuum through your walls like a really rich person, I’m convinced this is the best vacuum on the market.
