I ordered this a month ago. This listing is full of lies and is bordering on fraud. This claims to have a hepa filter, which we have been relying on in utah due to the extreme smog, but we just found out that it has nothing. This is a glorified fan and heater. Nothing more. There is no app compatibility, which i like so i can see what it's picking up. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN HEATING AN EXTREMELY SMALL ROOM!!

Great quality, super quiet. Only reason im giving it 4 stars is because it says it is compatible with the Alexa app however you need to connect it with the Dyson app first and this model is not compatible with the Dyson app.

4 Sleek, works well, a few quirks

I had a large tower fan that was obtrusive that I wanted to replace with a 3 season model. This Dyson fit that need. I liked the build quality and sleek look. The colors go well with my decor. At just under 24 inches, it is compact. So compact that I decided to put the Dyson on a small table I have - see the photo. The heat output is OK as long as you are fairly close to the Dyson. The fan only has more range and the fan pattern can be adjust from focused to diffuse. I’m about 7 feet away and the fan and heat are adequate. The Dyson has a small footprint compared to my former tower fan. The remote is very small and easy to handle. See the photo of the remote in my hand for sense of size and scale. Two issues cause me to rate this 4 stars rather than 5 stars. Issue 1 was the fact that the remote is required to operate this device. If you break or lose the remote, the only function you can control is on/off. I located a second Dyson branded remote for about $25 for the two seating locations in my living room. Reason 2 is that if I press the fan speed button upward or downward quickly, it activates my McIntosh MX-122 home theater preamp controlled audio system. That’s a really quirky adverse event that won’t affect many users but it got my attention. If I press the fan speed buttons slowly, it does not activate the McIntosh. Hence my 4-star rating. Overall, this Dyson unit is a better but pricier option than my tower fan. It looks good, works well enough from me and I can work around the shortcomings I described above. Hope this data helps!

This is a great little heater and fan! This is an updated version of one we have had previously. They do a great job at evenly heating an area. While they are a little pricey, it is nice not having an exposed heating element, and every now we have ever bought (this one makes #4) is still going!
