Good and almost great

It's overall good but I didn't realize it was only 950 watts when I ordered it so it takes a little longer to heat or cook items. I like the presets and the "lock" system.

Buyer beware

I ve had this for only 2 years the boytom of the microwave will rust . This is poorly made this should not hapoen .

I had a similar GE microwave (with slightly larger capacity) that I loved. It was generally similar to this GE unit, but this has a couple quirks I don’t like (& I’ll note, I just got it “new” yesterday). The person who commented about the dark buttons was right & I wish I heeded their warning! On black units, GE used dark color lettering on the buttons that make them VERY difficult to read on the black console (even with a flashlight)! Also, opening & closing the door requires a harder push of the button & door (it doesn’t work smoothly like my previous unit) & doing so is quite loud, more than just a closure click. It sort of sounds kind of like clunking something plastic or metallic hard onto a counter. I can’t speak to it’s heating power since it’s new, but thought I’d share my immediate concerns.

Food still cold/undercooked

Looks great but leaves food an undercooked. When following directions on food package, you may add another 20% to the cooking time. May consider returning,
