We’ve owned this product less than a year had problems with the door open. Item is broke cannot open the door makes a loud bangs and the biggest problem is trying to get it fixed every phone number you call talk to somebody else now they want me to bring it to the store. This compactor weighs just as much as the fridge. Very dissatisfied.

It works but it’s not as heavy duty as our Maytag Trash Compactor was but it was the only one we have been able to order and actually receive in three months. It compacts once at the foot of the unit.

3 Pay more to get less

Only black trash compactor we could find that goes with our other black appliances. Was more expensive and is smaller and has less to offer. Had to put a frame around the outside cabinet. It is very loud and no where near as good as the 40 year old Kitchen aid compactor we replaced. Nowadays they charge more and you get less. Took months to receive because of the pandemic and mfg being slow. Will see how long it lasts.

Noisier than my old compactor. Also much more expensive doesn't compress as well. But then again very few available to chose from. Seems like compactors are a thing of the past recycling. My old was a completely enclosed unit that could be slid under my counter. I would probably buy again but we will see how long it will function my old one was 14yrs old.
