I wanted a gas cooktop to replace my 21-year-old GE Profile 36" cooktop. This was a perfect choice. I like the black grates and they compliment my white kitchen cabinets and dark hardware.

GE stopped making replacement parts for our old cooktop so we bought this replacement. Best Buy has the best price and great installation team.

The gas cooktop is just fine. It was the only GE cooktop where the order was accepted by GE. The BIG PROBLEM was Best Buy sent out incompetent gas installers. We had a gas leak in our house for a week! We finally had to call out Teco/Peoples Gas. Also if you call to complain, you are put through to Columbia, S. America and most of the time the Reps for Best Busy would hang up on us. Terrible service if you are purchasing an appliance.

whoever did the final check forgot this one, so quality control was lacking. GE usually has good products. shameful they let this one slip. hopefully next one to replace isn't the same

I just purchased this cooktop. It was an easy install and has been working quite good so far. I purchased a Kitchenaid previously that was more expensive and it came defective with gas smell and 2 burners not working and I had to wait for over 3 months for it to be delivered..very frustrating..and it had to be uninstalled and I was told it would be another 2 months. The GE delivery was quick and has been working efficiently and I love the quality of the cooktop. Value for price.

Works great and looks good in our kitchen. Was a little deeper than old one and had to cut a little off the front countertop.

Gas is even on all burners. Cooks well. Easy to clean. Spills wipe up easy.
