Haier - 15 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator with Quick Cool and Freeze - Stainless Steel

I bought this to replace a Frigidaire that started making popcorn noises after less than 1 year. This Haier is the quietest fridge I have ever heard. It's actually hard to tell if it's even running. It's more than enough room for 1-3 people but maybe too small for a large family. It's a bit annoying that you have to open the door ALL the way to open the drawers but not huge problem. The shelves are not highly adjustable but it does allow you to move the top shelf up a bit to make more room on the middle shelf. The default temperature setting (37F) was a bit too warm for me. I checked the temp of milk stored on the door shelf and it was 41. Milk stored on a main shelf was 39-40. After i adjusted the main temp to 36, and the "my zone" drawer temp to 35 (to store meats), all of my food is under 38.5F (which i checked several times). The best thing about this fridge is how quiet it is. My kitchen is near my living room. My old fridge was annoyingly loud. This one is near silent. The compressor makes a quiet, high pitch, buzzing, which is inaudible once you are 10 feet away. You can hear the internal vent doors (actuators) opening and closing but this only lasts about 10 seconds. There is occasional gurgling sound but it's rare, normal, and quiet. Overall, i am extremely satisfied with this fridge.

The short and sweet: It is a good fridge if you need a smaller one. It is attractive, works well, and basically all of its drawbacks are just due to its size. The long one: We bought a home that only had room for 28 (or 29?) inches wide fridges, which basically removed all major brands and most nice looking options from our search. This fridge is taller than the one we replaced, which I like. The good: - The brushed stainless looks really nice and is easy to clean - The front control pad locks, so you dont bump it - The sides and front all can have magnets - The shelf space inside the fridge is fairly roomy, and the door fits a surprising amount of stuff. - The hinges are reversible so you can put it wherever. - The adjustable temperatures and unique temperature zone shelf is nice to have. - It really does look very nice and feel sturdy and well constructed. The bad: - The way the shelves come originally means you have to put milk/juice/etc in the door, because there's absolutely no way they can stand upright in the fridge. Since it doesn't have a water dispenser, our brita pitcher is in the door - kind of a bummer because it would be nice to stick it in the back of the fridge so it can be much colder. They can be moved around, but we wanted to keep the three tiers of shelving and I'm not sure how to fit all 3 while making one tall enough for what I'm describing. - I said the door fits a surprising amount of stuff - it does. But you can't buy larger sizes. You have to get the mid-size bottles of ranch, bbq, soy sauce, etc. or they will all be competing for the same space as your water pitchers/milk. - The freezer has these pull-out drawers that require you to open the bottom door all the way to pull anything out of the freezer. Kind of annoying. It is also just shallow enough it is difficult to fit frozen pizzas or bulk-size frozen goods inside without careful organization. We also own a small chest freezer in our basement, so these things haven't been super important to us, but worth pointing out. - I do have a scratch on the front after 6 months of ownership, and I don't know how it happened (although it could have been my 100lb dog...) - It is a bummer that it doesn't have a water dispenser (or ice maker, but I care about that less). At this price most larger fridges have one and my griping about shelf space would probably go away if I didn't have brita pitchers in my door taking up my most valuable real estate.

Two months into owning this fridge, and it brings me joy every time I open it. It’s perfect for a household of 3-4, easily. Even after my weekly grocery run and throughout the week as leftovers fill its shelves, it’s never too crowded and we can see everything. We have much less wasted food, the big drawers are awesome, the special drawer that you can set to a different temperature is such a nice feature for meat, and the light is so crisp and clean. I am amazed that everything we need to fit into the freezer drawers fits perfectly and nothing gets lost. The bottom two drawers don’t fully extend, but they extend more than enough. I love this streamlined Fridge so much. It was also delivered exactly when it was supposed to be delivered. Our kitchen is tiny, but this fridge gives us more organization and storage than we thought possible.

Super happy with my purchase. I ordered in store and scheduled delivery. The fridge is perfect for 1 person and has a pretty cool “my sone” feature. Measurements are true to size. Delivery was pretty seamless except Best Buys customer service wasnt the best. The delivery drivers were awesome though. They were very accommodating and delivered the fridge with care.

Good product and price for what I needed but the delivery and after sale service is awful Still awaiting rebate and contact from Best Buy as teh fridge came with a dent..

love the way it fits into the space and doesn't stick out! very nice and sleek just what I needed. For some it would be too small so be sure you know the capacity. I don't need much so it is just right for me.

Great lighting and so EZ to find things without all the trappings of compartments! Always prefer bottom-freezer fridges, and this one has wonderful drawers. wE opted against having an ice maker. makes absolutely NOISE (as our previous LGs and Kenmores did). WE LOVE THIS (had encountered it on an AirBnB Stay in Quebec, and were happy o finally track it down here in Best Buy! )

Bought this to replace our current basement fridge. The old unit worked fine, but it was old and not "cool". Plus I do not like top freezer refrigerators. My mom said that was all that made years ago, was bottom freezer fridges, why did they switch? Probably cheaper? This is a great looking fridge. Since it is a secondary fridge, we did not want or need anything big, and this is the perfect size. It looks amazing and has a good mount of room inside. I also like the drawers in the bottom freezer, nice touch. Needed to switch the handing on the doors and while it was not difficult, there are a few steps and parts. Went well though. Just make sure you hang onto the doors. I did not and the fridge door hit the floor and there is a small dent. Totally my fault. I am still bummed about it. So have some one help you so you don't dent things like I did. The lighting is nice and bright inside and a pleasant, modern lighting. Also appreciate the display on the front, comes on when you open the door and goes off a minute or so later. To be honest, I have a few small criticisms. First, while it is great to have drawers in the bottom freezer compartment (necessary actually), but the drawers don't pull out very far. They are short. Not a huge deal, just wish they pulled out further. Also, It took a few months to get this. But the pandemic was going and this unit seems to be kind of a special order, no one had it in stock, or quick delivery. It is kind of pricey for the size, but still happy I got it. Would buy again. Given the price, I wish it was a little better built. It's not bad, just a little cheapy feel in some areas. Course, these are just my opinions. Even though it is not perfect and on the high side for price, as I said, I am glad I bought it and would buy again. Gladly recommend this unit.

This frig is small in dimensions, but has plenty of space inside. The walls and door are much thinner than most and being able to remove a drawer and move the shelves makes it work great to fit my needs. It is also very quiet.
