I had a duo plus previously and I am glad that I bought this new RIO WIDE PLUS. It's more wide and easily for me to steam some food with large portions. Moreover, it is more quiet that Duo, barely no noise while I am using it.

Worth every penny. This instant pot lives up to every expectation and has improved capabilities all around. Because of the wideness of the pot, it is much easier to brown on sauté. I really really really love the quiet quick release. My kids love it also. Plus no more splatter or having to cover the quick release with a towel. No more burning hands from the steam. Just such a great investment. If you’re going to get an instant pot, get this one.

We love it & it’s easy to operate I like the removable inner pot to clean up. I like how quite it is when it releases pressure We like how it works great so far we use it for everything I definitely recommend buying it cause it saves on cooking time tremendously.

Absolutely love it i love that its wider this is my 6th instatapot but i love this one by far more putting tamales in i can get more in ,easier to brown things because of it being wide and then either pressure cooker slow cook i feel like this is my almost my everyday cookwear might likey replacing my other 4 i’ll never get rid of the mini lol

Amazing! I’ve waited my whole life for this appliance! 1st night I made a pot roast in 1 hr. A couple nights later red beans and rice. So easy to use So easy to clean And perfect for larger family meals!

I highly recommend the new Instant Pot Rio Plus. It may appear less sleek than other versions, but it is well designed and easy to use. The pot does not have a non-stick coating, but is still easy to clean. The wider pot lends itself well to cooking larger, wider cuts of meat. It is easier to sear the meat on all sides with reduced risk of burning yourself as in narrower taller pots. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. The steam release button is easy to use and there is little risk of steam burns because it is on the other side of the lid.
