    Newer is better

Posted by Sean Lee on Dec 2nd 2024

We had the older version of this microwave, and the newer version has subtle but substantial differences in a good way. Better choice of fan speeds, smarter interface. The additional shelf is handy, too. We're happy.

    Install

Posted by Sara Williams on Nov 29th 2024

So far doing great. Easy to use. For the install not a fan of the template for the holes to put it up being on the box itself which you uave to cut out exactly.

I am very pleased with this microwave cooks and warms food fast and very evenly. Installation was a little tricky but, that was because it was our first time installing a microwave on top of a range, overall very happy and satisfied with our purchase!

Replacing a Kenmore that lasted 6+ years

Posted by Jeffrey Daniels on Nov 8th 2024

This is a beautiful microwave. I bought this to replace my Kenmore OTR microwave that we had for over 26 years. It is roomy and has all the necessary buttons and is very user friendly. I was worried about the gray inside being too dark and it is not. The one I replaced inside was white inside. This now matches my Samsung slide in range and they are beautiful together.

    Good Microwave

Posted by Kevin Johnson on Nov 7th 2024

This microwave was a warranty replacement for another kitchen aid that only lasted 3 years. Hoping this one lasts longer but did get the 5 years warranty on this one too.

    Unexpected Benefit

Posted by Joseph Browning on Nov 4th 2024

For most of us a microwave is pretty basic. But there are many on the market that have the push button levers in the front that you use to open the door. Then you push the door closed. I appreciate the handle that KitchenAid designed. I often would get my finger nail caught on the body of the microwave if I was not careful pushing the lever that opens the door. It was rare but happened a few times over my life. There is no chance of this happening with my KitchenAid. All the features are all on point. I especially love the sensing function that automatically gauges how long to blast frozen entrees. The end of cycle alarm is very pleasing and unlike any I've heard in the past. Even my guests notice it. :)
