5 Excellent gas cooktop.
Posted by Jeffery Reid on Dec 9th 2024
We purchased this cook top to replace a hard-working 16 year-old Dacor. Years of heavy use had actually cooked the enamel paint off of the hottest burner. So, with heavy hearts we decided it had to be replaced...and after researching, we choose the Kitchen Aid stainless steel cook top for its ease of maintenance, powerful burners, and good reviews. I'm very glad we did. The Kitchen Aid's hottest burner is excellent - great for stir-fry or just getting a nice brown sear on meat. We use the smallest to finish steaming rice and to make delicate sauces. The grates are large and heavy — perfect for serious cooking. There is no problem with them being "too high." Pans heat up quickly and evenly. Cleanup is a breeze - provided that you do after every time you cook. Neither my husband or I have any complaints — we love it.

5 Amazing Cooktop
Posted by Brenda Stark on Dec 1st 2024
I am extremely happy with my recent purchase of this cooktop. It has very nice finishes and the grates are heavy duty (going to last quite a bit of time). I placed the order for in store pickup and they had everything ready in a matter of a couple minutes. They even offered to help me load it! Awesome!

5 Works Great, No Issues
Posted by Taylor Shaw on Nov 26th 2024
Needed a new cooktop, wanted to stay with the Kitchen Aid brand as I was replacing a 24-yr.old KItchen Aid that worked fine. I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg.....this one fit the bill. Perfect size, 5 burners of varying output, easier to clean than my old one. Chose this clean design, as with the controls in the center, it yields a little more room in the bottom left and right corners for the pans. All fit well, works well, no issues....happy we chose this one.

Stove is easy to use, the grates are heavy when cleaning. I like the way pans sit above the gas flame

4 Elegant design

excellent cooktop and elegant design and look. I like the way the burners are organized compared to other model in the same branch. It has more room for front burners compared other model and I like the knob which is metal and also BTU is more than any other models with this price range. if it would an option to have light or some kind of indicator to show us when stove is on, that would make this cooktop as go to model.

1 Do Not Buy It!!!!
Posted by Steve Bray on Nov 14th 2024
1) Poorly designed grill is raised above burner flame resulting in a lot of heat loss 2) Uneven grill level therefore any vessel doesn't sit flat 3) Poor design - Grills don't lock 4) Poor spacing design and can't cook multiple pots at the same time 5) Could have provided a bit higher capacity to these 12btu and 2 of 9.1btu burners 6) Poor design - The dials are clustered in the middle

5 Great Cooktop
Posted by Eric Stewart on Nov 12th 2024
Have been using this cooktop for a few weeks and it works very well. We are going back to gas cooking after 20 years with an electric cooktop. We were concerned about reviews complaining about the height of the grates. While grates are high above the burners, this is not a problem for us. It heats things faster than electric and gives much more heat control than electric. Clean up has not been a problem and haven't noticed any stains. Propane conversion and set up was simple and done in a few hours.

5 classy!

So far I like it very much. I needed a new cooktop as my older kitchen aid became obsolete and parts were no longer available. It is very easy to keep clean.
