This unit can be found in a lot of locations on line. It has a 1 year manufacturers warranty. The unit worked well and heated the room I had it in very nicely for about 1 1/4 years (including a summer when it wasn't needed). One day, we turned the unit on and it ran fine. After we no longer needed the unit we shut it off and disconnected it from the wall outlet (do that with any space heater). The next night, we attempted to use the unit. The main power switch in the back blinked when we turned it on and the panel beeped but the power switch light shut off...the unit wasn't operable. We tried it again and the same thing happened. I figured it was a broken power switch. The label on the back of the unit says "no consumer serviceable parts inside". But Lifesmart told me they would sell me the switch or I could buy it from Amazon (3 switches for $8). I replaced the switch and the unit is fine. So you can service the unit. There are 4 screws holding the steel heater inside the wood cabinet one on each corner of the casters. Then a bunch more holding the back of the steel heater on. Simple job.

Works like a charm!! I bought this to replace a similar one that I had. This works even better and it even comes with a remote. I have it in my garage for my cats to help them stay warm. It gets a little chilly in the garage even with the door being left open. It does an awesome job!! I definitely recommend it!! Definitely worth the money!!
