So ive wanted a small blender for a while now for easy protein shakes for when i dont have time to cook. I decided to get the magic bullet and its a lifesaver. Not big and clunky and not to small just right. Love it so much.

5 good smoothie blender

I bought this to replace my third small blender I used for smoothies. I am hoping it is more durable than the other brand. I also selected it because I have RA and twisting or uncapping things can be difficult. This model has a handled cup and allows me to grip and twist, and I've even learned to use the bottom edges of the cups without the handle to grip/anchor to twist it open without spilling the contents all over the place! I do worry about the motor, and suggest the manual be followed of not leaving the cup engaged but PULSE when operating. Sometimes the contents freeze and I have to open it and chisel things with a plastic spatula--wish they would have included a hard plastic one. It does wash easily. I do not put it in the dishwasher--it's that easy to run the blades under water right away and soap up to keep it clean. The cups have not stained from blueberries but are still nice and clear after 8 months of regular smoothies! Very happy I gave it a try, and I would recommend it.

I love this thing! I use it whenever I’m not feeling hungry and plan on skipping a meal. 1/2 a banana some blueberries and a scoop of a protein shake with a splash of lactaid milk to the max fill line and I’m good. I love that I’m basically washing a lot less than the traditional blender especially if you disassemble the blender to wash the blade correctly. This has increased the quality of my protein shakes and saved me time after my 9 to 5!
