Reduce excess moisture inside your dishwasher, and get smaller loads of dishes nice and dry in less time. Leak Detect
The Leak Detect system is a combination of multiple features that measure and monitor the flow of water at various points. If a problem is sensed, the unit can take action by draining the tub and alerting you when necessary. 10-Year Limited Parts Warranty
Maytag dishwashers are covered by a 10-year limited parts warranty* on the racks, chopper blade and stainless steel tub. So when we say you can count on your dishwasher for years, we mean it. Sani Rinse option
The Sani Rinse option lets you confidently wash important items with a high-temperature rinse that removes 99.999% of food soil bacteria. Full stainless steel tub
The full stainless steel tub is built of stainless steel from top to bottom, so it's tough enough to handle high heat and resist cracking and staining for years.

I like the dishwasher when it actually cleans properly. It is advertised as not needing to soak, scrub, or rinse dishes but I am finding that to be false advertising. I have only had the dishwasher about a month. I usually soak items before moving to the dishwasher but I decided to test it by not soaking as usual the last couple of loads. It doesn't clean well if not soaked first. It leaves food and residue behind. Whatever is left behind is baked on by the heated dry cycle. I have not had any issues with the heating part like some reviewers.. I haven't even needed to try the longer dry cycle because the short one works so well. I wish it cleaned without soaking as advertised. I have tried my usual Cascade Platinum Plus and the recommended Finish Ultimate but both left it less than clean for un-soaked items. I like having the top rack but the tray for utensils on the right side doesn't let them get items cleaned as well as the side with no tray. Maybe the tray doesn't allow enough water flow. Yesterday after removing a roast from a crock pot I waited a few hours to load it in to the dishwasher. I did not rinse, soak, or scrub and it left a white residue and particles all on the interior of it. It was placed on the bottom rack to the back of the wash tub. It was on the PowerBlast cycle with short heat dry cycle. Water is plenty hot at nearly 140 degrees before it enters the dishwasher to be heated even more. There is no reason this should not be clean. It also wouldn't remove dry scrambled egg from a small skillet. Particularly where the handle attachments are on the inside of the skillet. I am a bit disappointed. Too late to return but would be too much trouble anyway. I guess I will have to go back to soaking dishes before washing, which is unfortunate. I was hoping to not have to do that any longer. I am putting "No" for "do you recommend" in this review since it is required. If pre soaking wasn't needed I would give this 4 or 5 stars and recommend. Otherwise, I would love it because it seems well made, dries well, and is very quiet, and can fit more items with 3 racks with one being adjustable. That is very handy.

An Amazing Dishwasher!
Posted by Natalie Holt on Dec 3rd 2024
After returning lemon GE DW we went with this Maytag. My dh & I both had the $1200 Bosch when we combined our households. The Bosch racks are not user friendly & we both had repairs and poor washing experience. My Fisher Pykel was worse. I wasn't thrilled about having a "low end" Maytag in my kitchen. Boy was I wrong! This is a work horse with a third rack (see picture.) We are both cooks & use tons of greasy dishes & silverware daily. We've never used the heavy duty cycle; haven't needed to. Everything is sparkling. It's super quiet & the third rack allows so much capacity. Mid-range cost with top tier (lol, 3 tiers) performance! Six months & not one complaint. Love this dishwasher!

Fabulous!!!! Pictures show dirty dishes but...

Fabulous. I was worried it might get stinky if I only run it when full; living alone that can be up to 9 days between washing. No smells ever! I never believed dishes could sparkle, no joke. My big Fiestaware fits pretty well and negotiating the two drawers with some tweaking we are now in business. Flatware holder is great. 2nd drawer for glassware is fine, although I'd like to "put one more in" alas, I'm settled with it. The 3rd rack is a dream. Fill it with mugs down the middle and all kinds of weird items and 100% happy. Almost silent, in my little 900 SF house. So glad i got it worth every penny.

Love this dishwasher!

Love this dishwasher! Have had it for 9 months now with no issues. We originally planned to get a Bosch and it was slightly too big for our opening so pivoted and got this one. Extremely happy with the flexibility of the racks and quantity of dishes I can fit in it! Love the mug wash which I use for any small cups/bowls. Top rack can move up or down depending on size of items. Very quiet! Family members who don't know it's running have opened it while its running because they didn't hear it! Totally happy with this purchase!

This dishwasher is QUIET! I used to have a Bosch 300 in my other house and I can say this Maytag is much better. The Bosch was louder and the glasses didn’t fit well on the 2nd rack. When I moved, the existing dishwasher has a plastic tub so I immediately replaced it with this one. The middle rack on the Maytag tilts the glasses perfectly. And as I mentioned it’s quiet and beautiful. I love that the seemless look without buttons on the front and it does keep fingerprints off!

Quiet, Cleans Very Well!
Posted by Stephanie Rosario on Nov 7th 2024
This Maytag dishwasher which I've had for almost a year, is great overall! Love the 47dBA--it is so quiet you pretty much just hear minor shifting noises. This was important since its location in the kitchen is also right outside a bedroom! The top third rack really does come in very handy for low profile bowls, containers, lids and utensils. Racks are well-designed and the flatware holder removes for ease in putting them away. It cleans super, super well! Using a regular cycle is all you usually need, and it gets dried on food remnants clean with ease (I do scrape or rinse before putting in, but I don't wash every day). I once used the PowerBlast feature for dishes and one baking dish with dried on, baked on sauce that would have been a nightmare by hand---came out spotless!!! You can see time remaining when it's running. I do have to hand wash some mugs with designs that faded when put in the dishwasher, but I think that's normal. The racks are height adjustable which is nice. The only poor design flaw that is annoying is that when you unload you have to start at the bottom and go up because the top rack holds a lot of water in itself (not in the dishes) which splashes on the dishes below. Also, I feel like some items (maybe 1-2 a load) hold water and don't dry as well as the 15-year-old Maytag this replaced, but they spend some time in the sink drying rack which is a fine trade-off for all the pros of this item! The delivery service at the time (Best Yet Installations) was horribly rude and ignorant --argued with me about the filtration feature even though the unit has a sticker on it about it ("No dishwashers have that") and didn't leave a voice mail because "it's 2022 nobody leaves VM" but they also didn't TEXT when they were on their way and the phone call didn't go through on my phone which I showed him and he still argued with me. Luckily, I was home. They did the install though and no problems from the actual work that has come up, but they need a little training in customer interaction skills. And then gave me his card to do other plumbing work--HAHAHAHA!
