Maytag - 4.5 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Top Load Washer with Deep Fill - White

Maytag is in my opinion the best brand product of this kind. Much to my surprise the first load of wash I did in this machine got my clothes brighter than my old one. The features on this Maytag are user friendly. I hate a whole lot of buttons, this has three turn knobs. Also the capacity of the wash barrel is huge, but the machine weighs each load and provides the least amount of water for the best results. I really like this washing machine and the price was just right.

Cleaned clothes very good but is a little noisey. Cannot handle bulkey loads that well without the machine sounding off track.

It’s a good washer. Holds plenty for my family of 4. I dumped my big laundry basket of towels in and still had room to spare.

Great price for the value, guys that set up, was excellent would buy again from Best Buy

This has proven to be a stable Maytag washer. Its ample capacity can handle large loads, but it's delicate setting is of value.

It's a high efficiency HE washer that adjusts the water level to match the load size. I'm using HE Tide detergent. I use very little per load, and my clothes come clean. The stainless steel braided hoses are leak free. No problems...

Overall good washing machine. Cycles take a little while and once the lid is locked, thats it. No more adding new clothes. Can hold a lot of laundry!

We purchased this washer a week ago and once we got it home and hooked it up we were shocked how loud it was. I decided to start trying to figure out why it was so noisy, and I'm glad I did! To start with, the loud sound right when you start a load of wash is the door locking. Is it loud? Yup, sure is, but it has nothing to do with how the washer performs. Secondly, when you install the drain hose it is naturally curved to set back against the base of the machine at the bottom, so when the machine starts to spin, the drain hose smacks the back of the machine, making an annoying racket. Luckily the drain hose is also sort of flexible and if you just ever so slightly bend it away from the machine it will cease making that sound. And finally, the water lines that we purchased were garbage. They were the only set Best Buy had in stock so we purchased them in the name of "new" being better than re-using the old lines with a new machine. I read the reviews on the lines we bought and 4 people mentioned that they were causing water hammering in their home. A quick search showed that the lines we bought were not as wide internally as other lines and as such were causing water hammering when it hit the lines and it had to abruptly slow down. Water hammering is not only annoying, it is bad for your pipes. We bought new water lines made specifically to quick fill an HE washer and the problem (and the noise associated with it) stopped. Our clothes are definitely getting cleaner than they were, the cycles are not insanely long and it does the job you need it to do, all at a pretty good price.

We love the washer! Quick wash actually gets your close clean. And the tub is very large to fit a comforter in.
