5 Amazing blender
Posted by Gabriel Reed on Dec 4th 2024
Very good blender. I make Mexican soups using chili pods and you don’t even have to strain the sauce it blends it so well. One negative is if you overfill it does splash out, but overall I love it.

5 Simplicity and power combined in one blender
Posted by Alexander Bright on Dec 3rd 2024
One of my first blenders was a simple one that only had levels 1-8 and a pulse option. It had a glass pitcher and was powerful enough to blend up ice. Since then, I’ve used many different types of blenders including Ninja brand blenders. One of the things I like about this model is that it combines Ninja’s power with old-fashioned simplicity thanks to the Blendsense technology. I’ve used it to make several different types of smoothies including straight up milkshakes and have even made a puree for soup. I found that I had to do very little in terms of determining what speed to use since the blender did that for me. It’s a simple blender for getting things done. Here is a quick synopsis of how the main features worked for me. Crushing Power One of my favorite things to do with a blender is make crushed ice. In fact, growing up, this was the only way we got crushed ice at home because our ice maker only provided full sized cubes. The Ninja blender’s 1800 watt motor has no problem with providing this icy treat. I was able to toss in full size ice cubes and watch it make frosty crushed ice that I could use in other drinks or even create slushie-type sodas. This beast of a motor doesn't flinch and in seconds, your concoction is transformed into a silky, frosty delight. I was even able to make an at-home version of snow cones. It wasn’t the shaved ice type, but the ice was crushed up enough to enjoy as a frozen treat. BlendSense Technology The main ‘technology’ feature of this blender is the BlendSense innovation that is built into the device. It’s almost like having your own personal smoothie sous-chef. While I still monitor it pretty closely, I have to say that the blender does a great job of figuring out what type of ingredients I’ve put in and how much power it needs to blend it all together. It detects the mix of fresh and frozen ingredients, adjusts the power, and precisely calculates the blending time. My mixtures have come out just right — not too chunky or too runny. In addition to type of ingredients, the blender takes into account the quantity of ingredients you've thrown in – if it's a massive breakfast bowl or just a quick snack. There is a manual control if you want to fine-tune the speed for yourself. Pitcher Size & Chop in the Pitcher The pitcher is a 72-ounce beast. It has the capacity to handle any type of blending recipe you throw at it. I’ve always struggled with this because even with simple powder-based smoothie recipes, I always seem to overfill when I add ice. This extra large pitcher has been just what I needed. I love that the blades go up the center of the blender. It really makes blending a breeze. Given its size, it is a little harder to store but that’s a minor issue in my opinion. Clean-up Based on how the blender is constructed I thought it might be hard to clean. Fortunately Ninja thought this through and made the blades removeable for easy cleaning. I’m also thrilled that it’s all dishwasher safe. I will usually give everything a good rinse before I put it in the dishwasher, but that’s just to get the excess debris loosened up. I’ve not had any issues with the blender elements getting clean in the dishwasher. Overall, the Ninja Blender Detect seamlessly combines power and simplicity. With its BlendSense technology, it's a breeze to make a variety of concoctions, from smoothies to milkshakes and soups. The 1800-watt motor effortlessly crushes ice, while the roomy 72-ounce pitcher handles large recipes with ease. Cleanup is a cinch, thanks to removable blades. While it may take up a bit more counter space, it's a testament to how far blender technology has evolved, harmoniously marrying the best of the past and present.

5 Excellent blender

I am so happy I purchased this blender. Just put all the ingredients on the pitcher, push the start button and it’s intelligent enough to select how long to blend it … I would recommend it to others!

5 Very, very powerful

I had many blenders throughout the years but this one is a beast. It is so powerful that it crashes ice in seconds. Easy to use and clean. Compared to other expensive blenders, this one is a steal.

5 beautiful look, blends good, close, and clean good

It took me a long time to make the final decision. But it’s the best decision I have taken. My son doesn’t pay attention to anything. But when he used the blender he asked mom where you bought it?. It’s a real good blender he said. Trust me you won’t regret it. It cleans easy, it blends every single piece, and you don’t have to open up the whole thing to add water or whatever you need to add. Awesome. It’s worth every penny.

5 Stacked Blades & Blend Sense = Perfect Blend
Posted by Mrs. Sandra Taylor PhD on Nov 11th 2024
We love the multiple blades on the stacked blade assembly and the auto sensing features in this Ninja blender. Whether we are pureeing vegetables or making frozen drinks we are getting the most consistent blend without having to do anything but push the start button. Due to the stacked blades I no longer have to stop blending and use a spoon to push the stuff sitting on the top down to the blades at the bottom before restarting the blender. Pros: -

5 This Blender Does Not Disappoint
Posted by Amanda Hunt on Nov 8th 2024
I’m a simple man. I just want to dump a bunch of frozen fruit and juice….and cross my fingers that the blender does the job without any intervention. Sadly, I haven’t been able to experience this with 100% success with my past blenders. I’ve had those blenders with “tech” in the name, and I’ve owned a blender that had "vitamin" in its name. At some point, I’d have to intervene to allow the blender to completely blend my smoothie at the consistency that I want. The Ninja Blender Detect has exceeded my expectations in the auto blend department. I've made several smoothies thus far and every time the Ninja blends perrfectly without any intervention. Now the big difference I see is in the blade design. Most blenders have a spinning blade that sits at the bottom and creates a vortex to allow ingredients at the top to make its way down. More often than not, that vortex created only blends the bottom half of the entire blender jar. The Ninja has a towering blade that stands almost as tall as the blender jar. This allows for blending at all levels of the large 72oz blender jar, and it works really well. The Detect aspect of this blender is pretty sleek. It is able to detect how much effort is needed to blend your ingredients and apply a blending profile automatically. They call it BlendSense, and it will adjust the blender's speed, pulses and run time. With a peak wattage of 1800w, this blender doesn't shy away from the most toughest frozen fruit or ice. Ninja is telling us to trust the machine to do the work the best way that it can. Using the blender is very easy. I love that you have to lock in the blender jar to the base in order for you to turn it on. This assures that the motor is in full contact with the blade mechanism. Then you simply turn on the blender using the power button, then press the big center button and let BlendSense do it's thing. The blade itself is removable from the blender jar, so after you're done blending your ingredients, you can simply pull the blade out of the jar and you'll be left with your blended goodness. No need to fish for that little bit of smoothie underneath the fixed blade like other manufacturers. For those power users, yes you can still choose from manual settings just like most blenders on the market. The blender is actually on the quiet side for me, and that's always a plus. Cleanup is just as easy. The entire blender jar, blades and lid are dishwasher safe. There are holes in strategic places of the jar to allow the water to drain while in the dishwasher so it's not pooling up after a wash cycle. Overall, I'm very impressed with this blender, and it has a new spot on the countertop. Ninja provides a one-year warranty.

5 Great addition to my kitchen
Posted by Charles Williams on Nov 4th 2024
I bought this last weekend because it was highly rated on several web sites and had good reviews here. My friend talked about frozen margaritas. I wanted it for smoothies. I had a cheap blender before and it didn't last long. I decided a better mixer was in order. I brought it home and unpacked it. It was bigger than I expected, but that was a good thing. I skimmed the directions (I'm a guy, after all, and we don't read directions) and saw the warning about the sharp blades. Of course, while I was washing the blades, I sliced my finger. So be warned, the blades are exceedingly sharp. But that is a great thing, IMHO. So I made my first smoothie. It ran through the frozen fruit like it was putty and produced a wonderful smoothie. I have used it almost daily since then. I highly recommend this product. I love the sensing and mixing part. I can't say how it will do with other things but I like the ease of pushing the button and letting it go. The only drawback for some people may be that it may not make small batch items. The blades don't really reach to the bottom. Again, that's not an issue for me but if you are expecting a traditional blender with the blades in the bottom this is not for you. I only gave it four stars for the ease of use. The blade tree is a bit large and cumbersome. That's by design, of course, but it requires some care.

5 Blenderific
Posted by Meghan Kennedy on Oct 30th 2024
I love this blender. It blends really nicely. When I was shopping for a blender, one. of the things I was looking for was a blender that had a blade that covers the entire length of the pitcher. So many times, I have used a blender that only has a blade at the bottom of the pitcher. This makes for a much more difficult way to blend up items such a ice and fruit. I absolutely love this blender.
