5 A MUST for anyone with the appliance
Posted by Cassandra Brennan on Nov 3rd 2024
Seriously .. with appliances as low to ground level as they are now designed, a good bit of lift from a pedestal (and a drawer too) is a MUST HAVE in thexhouse when you are taller than average and even with a wheelchair or walker in use too (I'm both taller than average and also someone who uses a wheelchair/walker .. this gets the doeor opening to a reasonable height and i dont have to be im pain because appliance washer is just too low!). I like the idea of the drawer, but it is still a bit low for me (sigh .. i buy the largest size detergents and fabric softeners .. they won't fit in this drawer still!). Thankfully ive saved some small detergent jugs from travel, washed and reuse them, so i can put my stock in the drawer. (I still use liquid detergent and softeners .. the pods are not efficient cleaners, and i domt lile having to use 3 or 4 per load). All in all .. getting appliance off ground level is a plus for me. I dont stack my appliances (the laundry area is big enough to put them side by side) JUST a few inches higher would be perfect. But this is far better than beimg in a wheelchair and having door well below wheelchair axle.

5 Adds height to the machines and storage
Posted by Desiree Santana on Oct 4th 2024
They big enough and help lift the machines from the floor. I got two of these but I will probably only use one as storage because my washer pan does not permit me to open the drowal of the pedestal under the washer

5 does the job, be mindful of bending
Posted by Jeffrey Schmitt on Sep 23rd 2024
worked as advertised. be careful to only rest the washer only on the 4 corners. the movers started putting the washer on this in the middle and I had to tell them stop its bending. Luckly only a little bit of a bend and you cant see it with washer installed. be mindful not to bend the pedestal when you install it

5 Best decision I have made!
Posted by Annette Diaz on Sep 14th 2024
Purchasing a couple of pedestals was one of the best decisions I have ever made! You might think 14 inches higher isnt a big difference, but when you have a bad back or trouble bending down it makes all the difference in the world. I do think they are overpriced but i do not know what goes into manufacturing them so i wont hold it against Samsung. Really good buy.

5 Methodical install, pedistal is great!
Posted by Ryan Hicks on Sep 14th 2024
The pedestal was in perfect condition with no dents. The install was easier with 2 friends help using straps to pick it up. I made sure to turn washer feet all way in and locked in place. I placed the pedestal in position where it was to stay and leveled it perfectly. I marked the floor to know where to place the pedestal feet after the washer was locked into it. I moved it out so friends could lift the washer while I guided it into pedestal lock downs. Placed metal locks around the washer feet and secured with the provided screws. I put sliders under the pedestal feet to make it easy to slide it back in place. We lifted the front of the washer to remove those 2 sliders and then tilted the washer forward to remove the back 2 sliders. We moved the washer slightly to get into the exact marked position. I rechecked for level, no adjustment was needed. We raised the front of the pedestal to put the provided sticky pads on the bottom of the pedestal feet. We did the same to the back feet. The washer does not violently shake or move around during any spin cycles. On some heavy loads, there is some slight vibration felt on the top of the washer as it gets up to spin speed, but no movement or violent shaking. Note, the washer is on the main floor of a split foyer house. The floor is tiled on top of 1 1/4 inches of plywood.
