5 So much easier!!!!
Posted by Bailey Watkins on Dec 8th 2024
So I had the original Genesis model where you had to manually pump the CO2 and it was always a hit or miss on drink carbonation ...either not enough or too much. Now, with the One Touch, it’s perfect every time. I’m so glad they provided an automatic option. One note of caution, be careful pouring the syrup into the bottle if you selected lever 3 carbonation...it tends to expand and overflow...only took once to learn my lesson. Without fail, It’s so easy to make fantasy tasting drinks. Off to try the lemonade next...

4 Wish I'd bought this one first.

Our old Phillips soda maker died after about a year and a half. I looked around and decided to spring for a SodaStream instead. I'm glad I did! This one is much easier to use, and seems to use less CO2 to get the same fizz. The only minor gripe I've got is that the old bottles I bought for the other machine don't fit this one. They're just a bit too tall.

4 Awesome and messy——>read for hints

Just get the cheaper push button version, cause you still got to push the button on this one? Instructions are vague and good be better. There are 3 different settings but if you don’t press the button you will have an exploding fizzy mess everywhere. Not sure why it does this when these are supposed to be fixed settings still love it cause it makes great carbonated water. Soda flavors aren’t bad either, they are super sweet so you only need a little.

5 Love this Product

Bought this because I'm a La Croix junkie, eight cans a week. As a big bubble water connoisseur, I definitely recommend this product. I squeeze fresh fruit in my water and it's amazing!

5 Best purchase

Love the ease of using this machine and great taste. The buttons make it easy to get the right amount of bubbles and removes guessing how much bubbles are needed. There are three options for the amount of carbonation. I like the second stage as it provides enough carbonation. I haven’t replaced my canister yet, but it’s been almost a month of using it almost daily. I had my doubts from switching from canned sparkling water to this because it wouldn’t give me the same carbonation, but I am convinced this machine is the way to go. I like not having to buy and lug canned drinks anymore from the store. Tip: Fill your bottle with water and place in refrigerator to make the water cold. Then when ready to drink, carbonate your sparkling water. Tastes better when cold. You cold add ice but I like a cold glass without ice.

5 Great product, easy to use. RECOMMEND

Was not sure whether to expect a "toy" or "gimmick" or a real kitchen appliance. Turns out this product is GREAT. Easy to use and puts out fresh and excellent tasting carbonated water. Conveniently has 3 settings for level of carbonation. We love to add the "Bubbly" flavors for fresh flavored seltzer water - better and cheaper than buying at the grocery store. One word of caution - add the flavoring AFTER you carbonate the water.

5 Works exactly how it should!!

I have nothing but great things to say about this unit! I buy a TON of Seltzer water and drink on average anywhere from 3-5 cans a day. I dont really drink soda other than on special occasions. Not only was it a pain to haul 12 packs in each week but i always felt horrible about the environmental impacts that has. I bought a water machine 5 years ago to reduce my bottle usage; it was time to do something about those cans. Enter my Sodastream One Touch. First off make sure ur bottle is at the fill line and is clipped in properly. These people saying it spills out is ridiculous. It seals against the unit so if you put it in correctly and have it at the fill line it wont do that. I havent had it happen a single time. It comes with a re-usable bottle and Co2 canister. Install the canister finger tight and it does not leak. I use the highest carbonation setting because i like the bubbly feel. I bought "bubly" brand unsweetened flavoring because a retailer I shop at had them marked down to $2.99 a pack so I stocked up (also bought 2 extra re-usable bottles). So far i love this machine. I have it setting on top of my water machine (I live in a big city with terrible tap water so I only use highly filtered water). I just grab an empty bottle, fill it with chilled water from my machine, load it in my Sodastream, hit the high carbonation button, then when its done i add 3/4 tsp of my preferred flavor (i love grapefruit and raspberry most), turn the bottle upside down and back up 2-3 times, and enjoy. No cans, bottles, or heavy lifting. Now all I have to do is get water for my machine when it runs out which I do anyway and have re-usable jugs for. Super happy. Gonna save me time, money, effort, and not impact the environment!! Not a cheap investment but for someone like me, it will by far be my most used appliance.
