Water leaking in less than a month and no repair f

Posted by Mary Sims on Dec 8th 2024

After less than a month, water was leaking from my washer and the wall behind the washer was wet. When I called Best Buy to repair, i was told the soonest someone could come out was 5 days!! Unacceptable repair time for a brand new machine with water damage in a house with young children. AND I have the Best Buy repair plan! Don’t waste your money on the repair plan!

    Thank you Speed Queen Washer

Posted by Jason Hudson on Nov 28th 2024

I really do not like "Smart appliances, as they tell me what to do rather than me telling them what to do" However, this has been a great washer. It never tells me my load is too small or that I cannot have hot water.

Does a load in 28 minutes! Cheaper in the long run

Posted by Heather Finley on Nov 18th 2024

Below I added a comment stating it does not wash in 28 minutes. I thought I was reviewing the TR7, that takes 50-60 minutes a load. The reviewer was correct, it does a load in about 28 mins. Old Speed Queen lasted 20 plus years. The mid dated ones, like mine lasted about 12 years. The new ones, I am seeing more repair s needed articles and forum comments. I expect 3-10. Still better than the 3 months to 2 years other branded junk out there. So, Speed Queen, buy 1 for 5 years. Other brands, buy 2 to 3 in 5 years. Makes the Speed Queen cheaper. Plus we get water level choices, not jut no water, to a full tub and nothing in between. Obviously a little harder that the TR7 on clothes, but it actually cleans them.

    Speed Queen the best

Posted by Laurie Morales on Nov 7th 2024

The BEST WASHER you can buy. Clothes come out clean no soap residue. I mean really clean clothes. Yes you can load up the washer . Queen size comforter fits and it comes out clean. It does not tear clothes up at all . Bottom line worth every penny spent on it. Yes 28 minutes to wash clothes.

    Speed Queen the Best!

Posted by Jennifer Williams on Oct 21st 2024

I've had my Speed Queen top load washer for almost EIGHT years - I paid the price for a no frills old fashioned washer because I want to set my water levels and be able to throw in additional items...I paid about $850 back then - I see they have about doubled in price...but I doubt if I'd ever buy anything else. Hate those "energy effcient" which don't even get clothes wet ...
