    Tineco S6

Posted by Thomas Brown on Dec 10th 2024

We love the Tineco S6! It is easy to use and maintain and leaves our floors clean. We didn’t know what to expect, but have been extremely satisfied with its performance. I would highly recommend adding this unit to your household.

    Love, but self-cleans very often

Posted by William Carr on Nov 30th 2024

I've been using this for a month now -- it cleans beautifully and is fun to use and I love it. My one complaint is that it alerts me that I need to run the self-cleaning cycle within about 5 minutes of starting to clean. So I clean, pause to self-clean, clean, pause to self-clean, etc. I had read concerns about the size of the water tank -- that's not an issue because I'm always stopping to run the self-clean cycle. Even with this issue I'm in love with this vacuum/mop.

    Game Changer!

Posted by Manuel Benton on Nov 29th 2024

I have three dogs and have finally taken control back with this mop. I have used other brand mops in the past but this one is so much easier to use and clean after. The cleaning solution does not leave a film on my floors and my house always smells fresh.

    So glad I bought this!

Posted by Maria Holloway on Nov 23rd 2024

I absolutely love this vacuum!! I have been telling ALL my friends and family to get one! This has made my life so much easier, I have a teenager, a toddler and a newborn and this makes keeping my floors clean so much easier. I love that I can vacuum over wet messes and dry messes, it doesn't discriminate. I've vacuumed up dry coffee grounds, sauces, crumbs, my POT ROAST that fell off the counter! Literally every kind of mess you can think of and it cleaned it up perfectly! (Disclaimer: I did not vacuum over the vegetables, I scooped those up and vacuumed up the gravy and sauce) I only wish I would have bought one sooner! If you're looking for something to make cleaning up easier, then don't hesitate to get this!

Every day upkeep simplified and beautified!

Posted by Tamara Smith on Nov 13th 2024

*THIS IS NOT A PAID PROMOTION* Just my honest opinion. Beautiful, sleek and well designed. The cleaning solution smells great too! I was very hesitant about buying this because of the price point - but it does both vacuum and literally washes your floors at the same time. It leaves your floor smelling and looking great. The surface area that it does cover looks great. My only gripe with this vacuum is that it doesn't get the crumbs or dust on the edge of the wall or right below the oven. Also it doesn't have attachments or anything like that so if you're trying to vacuum your couch or the baseboards - you have to find another solution. I wouldn't say this vacuum is best for deep cleaning but it's perfect for everyday upkeep. I'm still on the fence whether or not I want to keep this vacuum because of the price point. Since it doesn't get in all the nooks and crannies I would still have to keep my regular vacuum, and mop. So doesn't that defeat the purpose of buying a new vacuum? Eh.

    Love these Tineco Vacuum Mops!

Posted by Jason Jackson on Nov 8th 2024

I purchased a Tineco Floor One S5 about a year and a half ago and love it, so when I had the opportunity to check out the Floor One S6 Extreme Pro, of course I was excited! These vacuum mops have made great strides in the last few years and have become household staples, and Tineco, a brand I had never heard of before until my wife started asking about a vacuum mop has quickly become a leader in this space. So as mentioned, I've had the Floor One S5 for about a year and a half so I'll briefly compare it with the Floor One S6 Extreme Pro. At first glance, powered off, they are virtually indistinguishable. Like identical in size, height, weight and even many of the parts like the water tanks are completely interchangeable. Even the replacement rollers and filters are interchangeable, which is great from a compatibility standpoint especially if you want to have multiple of these around the house. For example, I plan to keep one in the basement now that we have one for the first floor and its great to know the rollers and filters can just be tossed in my cleaning closet and be used on either. The main difference from what I can tell between the two is that the S6 Extreme Pro comes with the full LCD display with graphics instead of just the LCD number readout on the S5. This was a feature that was limited on the S7 Pro and maybe the updated S5 Pro2. I know its all very confusing because this company can't stop iterating and improving their products, which isn't a bad thing, especially at similar price points! Functionally they are identical and easy to use. The main things I would say is to temper your expectations to start. These vacuum mops are not going to be as good as doing a hot water mop or even a hot steam clean for hard floors if you have caked in messes. They are really best for frequent maintenance and immediate cleanup of solid/liquid mix messes. A great example would be cereal with milk or ketchup or small berries/fruit. Anyone with young children knows what I am talking about and this is where these things are an absolute life saver and sanity check. But, if you wait for that stuff to cake up and dry on....well, these floor vacuums don't do so well. My advice if you have really messy floors with caked on stuff would be to first sweep up all the large pieces of trash or anything that might clog up the head. Keep in mind, anything you vacuum up is going to get wet and you're going to have to clear it out of the dirty water tank, so the less nasty stuff you intake, the less nasty stuff to dump. After sweeping, give them a deep clean with a traditional mop or steam mop the gunk off. Then finally go over everything and MAINTAIN with the Tineco every week at least and spot clean any big messes immediately before it has a chance to dry up or cake on. I like to run my Roomba right before we vacuum mop and its perfect and really cuts down on how often we need to deep clean. We used to have to deep clean monthly, now we do it maybe every 4-6 months with weekly maintenance with the Tineco. The LCD screen itself is super bright and hi-tech looking. It will tell you all the different statuses, like when to empty the dirty water tank, when to add more clean water+solution and the iLoop feature tells you which parts of the floor are still dirty along with the visualization of the brush heads on the LCD. Definitely makes cleaning fun and something that's more interactive. Some other nice features compared to the competition out there. The edge of the roller brush on the right side is very low profile which allows you to bring it right up to the bottom of your cabinets, there's virtually no edge so you can really get right in there. Also, the Tineco has an automatic self-propel feature based on motion vector so when you push it forward it pulls itself, when you pull it back it stops turning the brush for propulsion. This is actually very noticeable compared to other vacuum mops I used that didn't self-propel and while the unit is light at around 10lb, pushing and pulling for 30 mins can still get tiring so any help is welcomed! Charging and cleaning is also very simple, you just place the vacuum mop on the charger and it will charge and clean the brush head. Make sure not to use any foaming agent in the clean water tank, or this can cause a lot of overflow in the charging base while its cleaning. Emptying the dirty water tank isn't too bad either, you just remove the tank, remove the filter and dump the water out. I use the toilet because we have public sewage, but people who have septic tanks may want to dump into a bucket and dispose of it differently. As mentioned, anything you vacuum up will end up in here, but wet, so try to avoid anything that will get really nasty. I would also probably not do pet or baby waste if you plan to use the brush head again....just my opinion! However, it does come with 3 different heads so maybe you can use one for different purposes. If I had one complaint, it would probably be the size of the clean water tank. Between cleaning the floors and then cleaning the head, it can sometimes take 2 and even 3 refills to complete the task. I'd love to just do this once, even if it meant making the unit heavier during usage (because its really not heavy at all). Runtime of 35 minutes is actually enough for me for about 1,000sq/ft of hardwood/tile on my main floor so no complaints there. If you have kids or pets or just want to keep your floors super clean, these vacuum mops are a great investment, but you have to commit to using them frequently in order to get the most out of them. The cordless, light weight and self-propel really make them a joy to use and even after 1.5 years my first unit still looks and runs great, I expect nothing less from the S6 Extreme Pro as well!
