5 Great for hard floors!
Posted by Tracy Cannon on Nov 16th 2024
This thing is great! It has been a game-changer for maintaining my hardwood floors and bathrooms. My cat has been having more accidents as she gets older as well as having kids who spill things often, so messes are a common occurrence. Its user-friendly interface and efficient cleaning capabilities have made using it invaluable in my home. Maintenance is also a breeze. Setup: Putting it together is simple. All you have to do is attach the handle, insert the roller and charge it on the base. Once fully charged, you can fill the reservoir with water and solution and vacuum away! Charging does take a long while initially. Use: The LCD is simple and intuitive showing battery level, flow level and with a color ring that shows how dirty the mess is. I typically use the auto setting which adjusts the flow based on the mess it detects. There are three settings for suction only, auto and full flow. Most of the time it will keep the flow to a low amount to conserve water. The included solution only requires a cap-full of fluid to be mixed with the water so a small bottle will last a decent amount of time. Once finished, you can place the device on the base and activate self cleaning. Emptying the reservoir and dirty water tank is easy. Large particles and dirt are stored in the upper compartment which can be easily removed for cleaning. Even after cleaning, the battery retains around 70% charge. I am very happy with this device overall as it cleans wet and dry, has great build quality and solves real problems..

5 Great stick vac will leave your floors very clean.
Posted by Michele Jackson on Nov 16th 2024
There are many things to like about this all in one stick vaccuum and mop. I feel that this is a great alternative to other popular stick vacs while maintaining a high level of quality. Right out of the box you can tell that this stick vac is built very well. It is sturdy feeling and the handle snaps into the body easily and feels nice and secure. You must charge with the included base for at least 4 hours. The instructions are very easy to follow and there are only three modes so there is not a big learning curve. Once you are ready to use, you fill the water tank with fresh water. You can choose to add a solution if you like, I chose not to as my wife is very sensitive to chemical cleaners. When you start using it you notice that it emits a nice amount of water as it cleans. It is not too much and it is able to dry easily. It vacuumed everything I could throw at it. I have three dogs and keeping my floors clean is always a challenge. I feel that this was able to not only clean up all of the dog hair, but also leave the floor clean with the mopping function. The battery life is about right at 35 minutes. I did not specifically time it, but I would say it is accurate. I never ran out of battery while I cleaned my main level of my house. I doubt it would last to clean all levels of my home. The water tank is easy to remove and put back, and the waste tank is also easy to remove and empty. The brush roller also removes easily for cleaning. So far I am very pleased with the Tineco stick vac. I love it's easy of use and battery life. I feel that my floors are much cleaner now.

4 Works very well!
Posted by Jason Anderson Jr. on Nov 11th 2024
Ok first off. Location: one bedroom apartment around 800sqf of space a lot of it carpeted. Two cats. Out of the box installation: So easy! It came with extra brushes and a cleaning brush as well, along with a bottle of deodorizing mix (you add a cupful into water chamber). Speaking about water chamber you just fill that (located in back of vaccum up to max line) and the liquid or dirty water fills up the front chamber once done. This is designed for non carpet floors and it works amazing on these floors. But we used it on our carpet floors too and it deodorized and cleaned them very well AT THE EXPENSE of having to empty the dirty water chamber much more frequently (twice during our first cleaning). So if you don’t mind emptying it and want to use it on a carpet it works well on that as well. I took the one star off only for that reason that the water chamber needed to be refilled quickly for our purposes. The self cleaning feature is amazing! It’s a button on top of the wand and it vocalizes when it needs it once you put it in the charging area. It goes through the automatic process there. Love it! 4.5/5 tbh

5 Perfect Floor Washer for pet owners!
Posted by Shannon Nguyen on Nov 7th 2024
Tineco Floor Washer Pet Cordless 5 series is now my go-to when cleaning my laminate flooring. Included in the box are the floor washer, instruction booklet, two dry filters, three pre-treated brush rollers, charging dock, charger adapter, cleaning tool, accessory holders, and a bottle of Tineco deodorizing cleaning solution. The self-cleaning Tineco Floor Washer Pet Cordless 5 Series is very easy to use. I first assemble the floor washer and placed on the charging base to fully charge. Once fully charged, I filled the clean water tank with a capful of solution and warm tap water. What makes this an awesome floor washer is the fact that it can detects messes, adjusting suction and water flow for the best results. We have a Shiba Inu dog that constantly sheds his double coat. This floor washer rollers grabs his shedded hair and captures it in the advanced dirty water tank. The Tineco Floor Washer Pet 5 Series has voice prompts. Upon turning the device on, the voice prompt will say "Auto Mode". Other voice prompts are: "Dirty water tank full. Please empty dirty water tank", or "please fill clean water tank" or when placed on the base, "charging". There is a button to mute the voice prompts, however I prefer the voice prompts. Highly recommended.

4 Just An S5 For Pets
Posted by Brent Krueger on Oct 30th 2024
I think these floor washers(MOPS) are pretty cool. I'm ad the honor of trying at the least, three of these and they are the equivalent of a self-propelled lawnmower for your floor. This particular unit is in all honesty, the same at the Tenico S5 of two years ago. exept it's got a couple power enhancements and translucent tanks. I will say that this one has an extra mopping wheel, as this one is mainly focused on cleaning after your pets. There's no real problem there either, because this this thing, for lack of a better phrase(or just because I wanted to say this) sucks. But in a great way. This thing picks up what you're putting down. Spills don't stand a chance. I'm going to assume that you've neber owned one of these, so I will let you know what's in the box. The Mop(in 2 pieces), chargiing dock, with storage compartments, 3 mop heads, 2 filters and a nice sized bottle of cleaning solution. ( I love this solution. It's not very expensive to buy more. There's blue ring on the on the info grid that tells you if your floor is relatively clean, but that ring will turn red if you come across a filty spot, meanig you should stay iin that spot until i thoroughly cleaned. It is rechargeable and has an auto cleaning feature. It wil stink if you dont clean the lank after every use, so take care of that. Still much easier to deal with than a standard mop. And for those that are upgrading from the S5 ffrom a year or so ago. The dock does fit thiss unit. It's a really good floor cleaner to own. You will be happy with this as first time buyer, but if you aleady own a S5 and it woks fine, there's no real reasone to upgrade, unless you want just alittle more power.

5 Swiffer and Mop Killer: A Game-Changer
Posted by Rebecca Andrews on Oct 23rd 2024
Let's discuss the Tineco Floor Washer One Series 5, a nifty little device that's shaking up the world of floor cleaning. Is it worth the hype? Let's dive in and find out. First Impressions and Setup Right out of the box, you can tell this isn't your grandma's mop. The Tineco S5 looks sleek and high-tech, but don't let that intimidate you. Setting it up is a breeze - even if you're not exactly a tech wizard. Just snap a few pieces together, fill up the tank, and you're good to go. The app is optional, but it's pretty cool if you're into tracking your cleaning stats (yeah, that's a thing now). **TIP** When registering your device, select the "Floor One S5" as the Floorwasher PET Series 5 is NOT a separate listed model. **TIP** The Cleaning Experience Here's where things get interesting. This bad boy doesn't just push dirt around - it vacuums and mops at the same time to leave your floor dry and clean. Talk about multitasking! The iLoop Sense technology actually detects how dirty your floor is and adjusts its cleaning power and solution accordingly. This extends cleaning time and saves unnecessary refilling. It's like having a tiny cleaning expert inside your mop. One of the best parts? No more wet socks! The S5 leaves your floors just slightly damp, and they dry in under 5 minutes. Compare that to the 20-minute wait time with traditional mops, and you'll see why this is a big deal! I definitely love how this changes my cleaning routine. Battery Life and Portability The S5 gives you about 35 minutes of cord-free cleaning time. Is it enough to clean Buckingham Palace? Nah. But for most homes, it's plenty. Plus, not having to deal with cords while you're cleaning is pretty liberating. I have about 1/5 of the solution remaining and 34% battery remaining cleaning about 250 sqft of floor. The Tech Factor Okay, let's geek out for a second. The LED screen and voice notifications are actually pretty helpful. No more guessing how much battery you have left or if you're doing it right. And if you're into data (no judgment here), the app gives you all sorts of stats about your cleaning habits. It's like a Fitbit for your floor cleaner. I really enjoyed the smart features that don't make it difficult to use. The Not-So-Great Stuff No product is perfect, and the S5 has its quirks. The tank is on the smaller side, so you might need to refill it if you're cleaning a bigger space or multiple floors. And while it does a great job, there's always room for improvement. A wider cleaning base or some floor-illuminating LEDs would be cool additions for future models. Some of these things are improved by selecting a higher series of Tineco floor washer. The Verdict Is the Tineco Floor Washer One Series 5 worth it? If you're looking to up your cleaning game without breaking a sweat, then yeah, it's definitely worth considering. It's not just about clean floors; it's about making your life easier. And let's be real, anything that makes cleaning less of a chore is a win in my book. Sure, it's got some high-tech features that might seem over the top, but they actually make a difference in how you clean. Plus, the self-cleaning feature means you don't have to deal with a gross, smelly mop head ever again. In the end, the Tineco S5 is like the cool, efficient friend who actually makes chores fun. Well, maybe not fun, but definitely less of a drag. If you're ready to say goodbye to your old mop and bucket, this might just be your new best cleaning buddy.

5 Best wet power floor cleaner I’ve ever used
Posted by Jennifer Arnold on Oct 17th 2024
In short, the Tineco FloorWasher S5 Pet (I shortened the long name) performed better than I expect it to. Better than a corded Bissel wet floor cleaner I bought several years ago. It’s much lighter and quieter too. I’m not going to be relisting specs and such, but rather discussing how you set it up to use it, clean it when needed and how it performed cleaning floors and doing its self-cleaning. The product is well packed with eco friendly packaging . It was easy to unbox and comes with a setup and operation manual that’s easy to understand. The manual tells and shows you what is what in the machine. How to remove and fill the clean water tank, removing and emptying the dirty water tank, installing the debris filter and how to dock it to charge up. What the icons on top of the display mean, how it works to detect the dirt level in auto mode and how to manually set power levels if auto doesn’t perform well enough. How to disassemble and clean the product as well as a troubleshooting guide. Pretty typical but easier to understand than some manuals I’ve dealt with over the years. After getting it setup and charged up it was showtime. I was working out of town when it was delivered and I told my wife not to use it, or anything else to clean the floors, until I got home. I wanted to give it a good workout. I filled the clean water tank with very warm water (instructions state do not use hot water over 140F) and added a cap full of the included detergent. Reinstalled the full water tank and started on the kitchen floor that is heavy vinyl wood textured planking. It had some crumbs, a few spill spots and cat hair as we have two cats. I was impressed with how it performed on cleaning the floor. It got everything up and up to the edges of the kick panels under the cabinets and appliances. It got the spill spots too! Something that the powered Bissel would have struggled with. It didn’t leave excessive water on the floor and the floor dried pretty quick. See photos. I was impressed with how quiet it is compared to the 3 stick vacs I have reviewed and it is way quieter than the corded Bissel. It’s easy to roll and guide it where you want. The two wheels on the back have rubber tires that have some grip and I think that helps a lot. However, they do get dirty during use and need to be wiped off occasionally. Mine have a liking for cat fur. But they are very easy to clean. I simply held the unit over the kitchen sink and ran water over them while gently wiping the fur and dirt off. Then I dried them off and ready go again or place in the dock if I’m finished. I have the same type of flooring in all my house as the kitchen. About ten years ago I replaced the carpet in the entire house with the vinyl plank flooring to be pet friendly. We had a senior cat that barfed a lot and that had a lot to do with the floor choice decision. Need I say more? ?? There’s a bedroom that we store stuff in that we also have the cat’s food, water and litter box in. I put a large piece of thin vinyl flooring in that room to protect the plank flooring underneath from dirt and spills. I ran it over that too and it did an excellent job there as well. While testing the unit I tried it in the various power modes. Auto seem to do the best job for the most part and gives the longest battery life. There was only one stubborn spot the unit wouldn’t remove completely in the dining room. Even after running it at max power. I thought I was going to have to get a brush to remove it. That gives you an idea of how well this thing works. The unit will stand on it’s own and pause when you stand the unit upright so if you need to stop and move furniture you don’t have to turn it off to do so. My 90 year old mother lives with my wife and me. She was watching me test it out. She had to give it a try. She ended up finishing cleaning the kitchen floor with it. She loves it! She insisted on cleaning the rest of the dining room and living room with it after I finished testing it. My wife likes how easy it is to clean and dry the unit and parts after use. You press a button to toggle through and select the power levels. Lighted icons and voice prompts tell you when to empty the dirty water, refill the clean water, self clean the unit, low battery and other pertinent information it thinks you need to know. You can mute the voice prompts and change language if desired. The round top of the unit is a display that tells you battery level, dirt level sensing, cleaning / suction power level, water tanks info, blockage, roller tangle and self cleaning. After testing it on cleaning floors and emptying out the dirty water tank a couple of times and filling the clean water tank as many times too, it was time to test out the device’s self cleaning ability. I placed it in its dock and it did it its self. You can manually start and stop the self cleaning process. If you need to empty of fill a tank during the self cleaning process, it will stop and tell you to. I looked at the cleaning roller and the rest of the cleaning head part of it before I ran the self clean and after. I was impressed with the job it did. For light random uses, self clean should be fine, however, you should take it apart and do a thorough cleaning ever so often and not let too much time go by in between a “take it apart” cleaning. Also, I would empty and at least rinse out, the dirty water tank every time I used it. Taking it apart for a thorough cleaning is pretty easy. Everything that comes apart, comes apart easily. The top cover of the power head clips off and can be cleaned under a faucet. The power head is easy to wipe the dirt off of too. The dirty water tank has a tube that runs up through the center of it and a brush is included to clean that and the hose that runs from the power head to the tank. There’s also a paper debris filter that’s in a plastic frame that sits inside of the top of the dirty water tank. You can clean it too. The filter is paper and you will need to let it dry after use and cleaning. They include a spare filter. The cleaning roller can easily be removed and cleaned if and when needed. The self clean did a very good job cleaning it. There are of three of them included with the unit. One suggestion is that you can use one roller with detergent in the clean water tank to clean the floor, then switch rollers to a clean one and clean water to do a rinse on your floor if desired. See photos. 3 year warranty. I highly recommend the Tineco cordless power FloorWasher S5 Pet. It did an excellent job on my floors. However, they do state that if you have rough textured floors that it may not perform as well as it should and does on flat floors. I liked that it was reasonably quiet in comparison to other similar products I have used. It’s light and maneuverers well. Self cleaning does a very good job and when you need to give it a thorough cleaning, it’s very easy to do. It included a spare filter and 3 rollers. The only thing I wish it had was a volume control. The voice prompts could be a little louder.

5 A Must-Have for Pet Owners
Posted by Adam Barrera on Oct 9th 2024
As a pet owner, keeping my floors clean has always been a chore. The constant shedding, tracking in dirt, and occasional spills can be nightmare at times. I've tried countless cleaning products and tools, but nothing has ever truly lived up to my expectations. This Tineco floor washer is a game-changer! This thing is a beast at picking up pet hair and other debris. The cordless design makes it so easy to maneuver around furniture and stairs without getting tangled in cords. Plus, the self-cleaning feature is a huge time-saver. I love that I can just press a button and it cleans itself. It's definitely a must-have for anyone with pets or who just wants to make cleaning their floors a breeze. The dual-spinning brushes do a fantastic job of scrubbing away dirt and grime, leaving my floors sparkling clean. After cleaning, I simply press a button, and the machine automatically rinses and dries the brushes, ensuring they're always clean and ready to go. The cordless design gives me complete freedom to move around my home without being restricted by a cord. The suction power is impressive, effortlessly picking up pet hair, dirt, and debris. The dual-spinning brushes effectively scrub away stains and grime, leaving my floors looking and feeling clean. I was particularly impressed with how well it handled sticky messes, such as spilled juice or pet accidents. The battery life of the Tineco Floor Washer Pet is adequate for most cleaning tasks. I can typically clean my entire home on a single charge. However, for larger homes or those with multiple floors, you may need to recharge more frequently. The vaccum itself is relatively quiet compared to other vacuum cleaners. While it's not completely silent, the noise level is not excessive and won't disturb your pets or neighbors. The built-in LED headlights illuminate dark areas, making it easier to see dirt and debris. The water tank indicator lets you know when it's time to refill the water tank.

4 Not for all cleanups but helpful
Posted by Kelsey Santos on Sep 30th 2024
Great Quiet Light Easy to read display Sensor helps find dirty areas Includes extra rollers and cleaning tools Partially Self-Cleaning Open side of roller cleans close to baseboard Charging stand has storage for all accessories Rollers treated to prevent odor buildup No So Great Poor Wi-Fi setup App serves no meaningful purpose Limited it what messes it can clean Not good for spot cleanup Battery life limits thorough cleanups Self-Cleaning mode still requires manual work Dirty tank awkward to empty/clean Only works with Tineco cleaning solution The Tineco Floorwasher Pet 5 Series is a long name for what is a slightly modified version of the regular Floorwashers in the same series. The difference is the cleaning solution has ingredients to help with odors and bacteria and the microfiber rollers are treated as well. In the box it is has 3 rollers, 2 filters, and a cleaning brush. The charging/cleaning stand has a storage area for the extra items except the 3rd roller. It is nice that they include extras so you can clean one and let it dry while having the next ready to use. You can use it with or without the cleaning solution, but the instructions of course say only to use the official cleaning solution. Unfortunately, when checking online forums, it seems like when other clean solutions were tried it didn’t work well with the machine causing issues. Setup 10/10 Setup out of the box is very simple. Just take the handle and push it into the base. It clicks into place. After that you just choose a spot for the charging/cleaning base and plug it in. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes. It will probably take you longer to take it out of the box. Wi-Fi and App 2/10 It is no surprise Tineco doesn’t really market the app and Wi-Fi features very much on this unit as they don’t really provide any value. The instructions in the box and text outside don’t list the function. Only by watching other videos was it discovered this unit has such capability. Even after watching videos pairing was a pain as the app struggled to locate the device. You are supposed to be able to scan the barcode behind the freshwater tank but the app would never recognize it. The only way to pair was by manually connecting to the washer’s built in Wi-Fi and continuing through the app. After getting it connected the only functions possible was to see if the washer was charging or running, set the voice volume, and issue a self-cleaning. Unless you want to turn down or turn off the voice prompts you would be fine skipping the app setup. Usage 8/10 The first thing you notice is the Floorwasher is very light and easy to control. Coming from an old floor washing machine from another company the difference is very noticeable. The handle is comfortable to hold and makes turning very easy. Regardless of if the unit is in Auto mode or full power it is very quiet. It has enough power to where you can feel the roller pulling you forward as you clean. It takes a couple of seconds but eventually the entire roller becomes saturated with cleaner and gets the entire floor. You will notice a line of spots that are more wet than the rest, but they dry up quickly. By default, it starts on Auto mode. There is a manual mode where you can set it to low or high with low having a runtime of 35 minutes and high 28 minutes. In most cases you are better off keeping it on Auto and it will stay on low unless a mess is detected. While 35 minutes may not seem like much this unit is best suited for either a heavy spot cleanup or a quick whole floor light cleanup. In both cases the battery life has been more than enough. While it is easiest to keep it on Auto mode and let it detect messes, the performance of the iLoop dirt detection was hit or miss. It was able to detect more of a mess in front of the stove and dishwasher but didn’t see any mess in front of door with muddy dog pawprints. Then, it maxed out saying a door in the laundry room was as dirty as it gets and stayed that when even when switching rooms. It stayed this way until turned off and back on again. It seems some things on the floor can fool the detector to where it doesn’t adjust. Cleaning Performance 6/10 Considering this a marketed as a pet floor washer you would think it would be designed to handle the dirt and mud of pets. Unfortunately, this assumption is only partially true. While it can clean up fresh heavy messes easily or light dust and hair, what it can’t do well is cleaning up dried up messes. If your pet tracks in mud and it dries to your floor, even multiple passes are unlikely to get all the mess. For heavier messes that are fresh it does a great job of cleaning things up. The one area where the Floorwasher pet does best is the lighter broad cleanups of the house to get light dust, dirt, and all the lingering dog hair off the floors. A vacuum or mop can pick it up, but this picks up all the fine debris leaning the floors clean enough to walk barefoot without feeling like you are walking on sand. Having the roller exposed on one side is also helpful as it can clean closer to the baseboard to get up the grime that sticks right in the seam. The only thing more thorough is getting on your hands and knees and scrubbing, which you will still need to do to the baseboard as the roller doesn’t handle that part. If you are wanting something to get that last lingering particles off the floor so you can walk barefoot in peace, it is hard to do better than this. Tool Cleanup 7/10 It hasn’t been long enough to test how well the antibacterial and anti-odor properties work but so far there have been no problems. It does seem to help that after cleaning you can put the wet roller on the stand to fully dry. When placed back on the dock the Floorwasher will say if it needs to run a cleaning cycle. To do so you just press a button. Once it is done you have to do some manual work to finish up. You must empty and clean the dirty water tank, suction tube, and roller. The dirty water tank is pressure fitted into the base. You pull the top off and dump the contents out of the base easy enough. The top portion with filter is a bit more of a mess as hair and other crud sticks to it. Hair also gets stuck in the drain of the main unit, which is part of where the cleaning brush comes in. You also must pull the roller off and clean the suction intake. While not very hard, the cleanup isn’t as automatic as you are led to believe. This translates to each time you have a mess you are going to ask if the mess is worth using the Floorwasher and dealing with the cleanup process or if you are better off with paper towels or maybe a quick wet mop and rinse. This is why larger fine cleanups are mostly where it shows its value. Final Thoughts The Tineco Floorwasher Pet 5 Series isn’t all in one floor cleaning solution the advertising might lead you to believe. However, if you are the type that wants your hard floors to be completely clean of any fine debris and crud worthy of walking on barefoot, then this floor washer could be a good fit. Just treat it as a additional tool to add to your floor cleaning tools and not a replacement.
