5 Best Immersion Blender on the Market
Posted by Jason Robertson on Dec 9th 2024
Best immersion blender on the market. Way easier to power on and stay on while blending than any other blender we've had. Blends everything with ease. Pricey? Maybe, but if you have a Vitamix big blender, you know the quality of bend the brand gives, and this one falls right in line the same way.

5 Best immersion blender I've owned
Posted by Patricia Moore on Dec 6th 2024
Our family loves to cook and we love our cooking gadgets just as much. We have used an immersion blender for years. If you love to cook and haven't ever used one, you'll find it hard to believe you lived without one once you have tried one. We've owned 3 other immersion blenders, all lower end models. When I got the chance to try the new Vitamix Immersion Blender I was blown away. Out of the box, you can tell that this is a quality product. It is stainless steel and comes in two pieces. This is a well built and solid blender. The two pieces twist easily together. No struggling to get this piece and that piece lined up, etc. It is a lot heavier than other immersion blenders I have used but that is because it isn't made out of plastic. It is ergonomic and well balanced in my hand. It isn't top heavy. The blades are protected by a scratch resistant shroud. This is great to protect your pans and containers from being damaged. The cord has a decent length. Long enough to allow for movement but not so long as to get tangled up in things or hang onto the stove and get damaged. It is also super quiet. My other blender has a high pitched whirring sound. The Vitamix Immersion Blender is about as loud as a rechargeable toothbrush. This blender has 5 speeds to allow you to adjust the speed for what you are making. I used it for a thicker soup and it powered right through the different ingredients. I used it for a thicker smoothy with grains. I was able to blend right in the container so I didn't have extra dirty dishes. I was initially disappointed that it didn't come with any "blend in" containers. But when I took my other immersion blender out to give it to a friend, I realized that i hadn't ever used a single attachment or "blend in" container. If you are looking to puree things, this might not work for you. It blends great but not to the smoothness of a traditional blender. I love my new immersion blender. With the holidays coming, I can already see lots of opportunities to use it. Along with my Vitamix Blender, I have an awesome set of tools to use for meals for our family. I highly recommend this immersion blender. It'd make a really great gift for a loved one or yourself.

5 Powerful blender
Posted by Carrie Hill on Nov 18th 2024
This could be one of the most powerful hand-held blenders. The motor is rated at 625 Watts, which is close to what some full-size blenders use. It's all wrapped in stainless except from the bottom so it doesn't scratch pots. The bell-shaped base helps it be more stable while blending, and reduces splash. There are two buttons on the handle: Pulse button for power and speed, which is controlled by clicking on it and white bars light up on the top of the handle to indicate the speed. It always starts on the slowest speed. The base is held firmly and has to be rotated to open. It's a bit slippery to open. Works better using a rubber jar grip. Because it's so powerful, it can be on the heavy side. There are four blades on the base instead of the usual two on most handheld blenders. The base diameter is about 3" so be warner that it does not fit through most mason jars that are 3" wide. So we used a pitcher instead to make smoothies. The base is over 9" long and the motor assembly is 9", making it somewhat long and can be used on bigger cooking pots. To make smoothies, we found out that using it on speeds 2 and 3 works best. It crushes ice with ease, although as with other hand blenders, the space between the top of the assembly and the blades is not much so crushed ice gets stuck on it, if crushing ice alone. Works fine when mixed with other liquids of course. The base is easy to rinse. Overall very satisfied. Although we used it for about a week, seems very well built, although it's built in China, not on Vitamix's blender factory in Ohio.

1 Broke after 1.5 years of light use
Posted by Samantha Berry on Nov 14th 2024
very expensive immersion blender, plastic part on the insider where it gets connected to the motor, broke. see photo. It is only 1.5 year old and best buy says I need to reach out to the manufacturer. Being an elite plus member when I bought this and now having a total care memberhsip for which I paid $200, I feel best buy should have helped me the only time I am requesting help.

4 Easy to use and very effective
Posted by Joel Gould on Nov 12th 2024
Having never tried to make soups before, i was pleasantly surprised how easy this was to use. It's fairly light and easy to use and maneuver. I even had my 8 year old son using it while i got the rest of the meal ready. On the slowest setting, it made quick work of our vegetables and the low speed made sure it was easy to control. Pictured is a carrot and ginger soup. Because its in two pieces it makes it fairly easy to clean. Although, one concern is i don't know if it'd be so easy for other kinds of foods you use it for, like for something with a thicker texture like a smoothie or mashed potatoes. I'd personally prefer a removable blade to have more confidence that it's being properly cleaned, but so far, have no reason to suspect it isn't

5 Wonderful Blender
Posted by Rita Brown on Nov 5th 2024
I read up a lot on immersion blenders, and the Vitamix sounded the best. The silicone at the bottom was especially appealing as it won't scratch pans. I didn't see any others with this feature. I already have a Vitamix blender, and I know the long lasting quality of that product, so I was willing to pay more for the Vitamix immersion blende. It is wonderful to have for blending soups and sauces rather than having to dump everything into the blender to mix it up. It is quick and easy to clean. Other cheaper blenders include all sorts of extras, but I didn't think I'd use them so no loss there. I'm quite happy with it. Vitamix always has great warranties, not that you're likely to need it. I have a 15 year old blender that still works fine, also a newer one that I use now.

5 Outstanding product.
Posted by Heather Cooper on Oct 28th 2024
You get what you pay for. This Vitamix immersion blender is extraordinary. It is extremely powerful, balanced, and well thought out. From a hard rubber tip guard to protect your container to the rubber hand grip to the easy to separate halves for easy cleaning and more. Also, their website provides dozens of recipes to create if you need any ideas as well as other tips and information. Anyway, this was simply an awesome purchase for us.

5 Great Upgrade Over Our Previous Immersion Blender
Posted by Tanya Martin on Oct 23rd 2024
This is a super powerful and easy to use immersion blender. It’s definitely an upgrade over the Kitchenaid model that we’ve been using for the past several years and I’d recommend it to anyone that makes frequent use of a lower end model that’s looking for something a little more professional. The overall package is pretty simple. It comes with the main unit and the blending attachment. I’ve seen similar products that come with other accessories like whisks and our Kitchenaid came with a few of those, but we never really made use of any of them, so I’m fine with the lack of additional attachments here. The build quality is excellent; the metal construction definitely gives it a bit of heft, but not to the point of making it unwieldy. The power cord attached is about 6ft long and was plenty enough for us. Using this blender we immediately noticed the difference in power from our other one. We made a pretty thick soup with it and had no issues getting a whirlpool going in there. The splashback was also pretty minimal for the amount of power it was putting out. You do need to hold the power button down to use it and there is a button to toggle the speed directly underneath it. The grip design makes it really easy to get at both buttons with a single hand (right or left) and it feels comfortable to use. It’s also tall enough to get into some pretty large containers, though probably not tall enough for professional use. Overall we’re really happy with this immersion blender. For the price I’d probably recommend it to someone who has experience using one and is looking for an upgrade.
