    Excellence in Every Blend

Posted by Martha Wheeler MD on Dec 12th 2024

I have been using the Vitamix Ascent X4 Blender for a period of time, and I can confirm that it truly lives up to its highly-regarded reputation. It is a fantastic new kitchen gadget. I have been truly satisfied with its performance, design, and versatility. The Vitamix Ascent X4 features a stylish, modern design that enhances any kitchen counter. The premium appearance of the Black Stainless Steel finish and the sturdy construction both evoke confidence. The strong foundation guarantees it remains stable while in use, which is a big advantage. The user-friendly controls and touchscreen make it easy to switch settings, and the included timer enables accurate blending without the need for constant monitoring. The +15 second button is a handy function for any recipe that require a little extra blending time. In terms of performance, this blender is very powerful Equipped with a 2.2 HP motor, it can manage almost any task. Its five preset options (Smoothies, Frozen Desserts, Soups, Frozen Cocktails, and Dips & Spreads) provide reliable outcomes on each use. The Vitamix Ascent X4 effortlessly handles blending fruits and veggies for smoothies, nuts for nut butter, or ice for frozen drinks. Despite being tough ingredients, such as kale, they are blended smoothly without any chunks left behind, I’ve used other blenders before, and none have achieved the same smoothness and consistency as this one. The 48-ounce BPA-free container is the perfect size for my typical needs, easily handling 1-4 servings. The soft-grip handle makes it comfortable to use, and the included tamper is invaluable for thicker blends, with a handy storage spot on the motor base. One of my favorite features is the variable speed control. It allows me to adjust the speed as needed, which gives me more control over the texture of whatever I’m making. When I want a chunky salsa, I use a lower speed, and for creamy soups, I ramp it up to high. The pulse function is also handy for quick bursts of power. When it comes to noise level, this blender is similar to most others in that it is not very quiet. Nevertheless, considering the motor's strength, the noise is anticipated and not excessively bothersome. But at its maximum level, the blender is loud. I also adore the self detect technology, which is another amazing feature. The blender changes its settings depending on the size of the container, which is convenient when using the smaller containers I bought individually. It saves time for me when I'm in a hurry and don't want to manually change the settings. It is extremely simple to clean the Vitamix Ascent X4. The amazing self-cleaning feature requires only dish soap and warm water to clean itself in under a minute. The container can be safely washed in the dishwasher, but I hardly ever have to use it because the self-cleaning feature works so well. The fixed blades eliminate the need for disassembly when cleaning, which is a bonus. The level of craftsmanship is top notch, and Vitamix is recognized for its long lasting nature, may be that’s why Vitamix confidently supports its product with a 10-year warranty. After going through numerous reviews from experienced users who have owned their blenders for many years, I believe this is a durable investment. When it comes to the cost, it's definitely a significant expense and I did have some doubts initially whether spending that much on a blender is wise decision or no Nevertheless, after using it, I can confirm that it's worth each penny. If you often mix smoothies, soups, or other meals, this blender's performance, durability, and versatility make it a great investment for any kitchen. The Vitamix Ascent X4 Blender in sleek Black Stainless Steel is outstanding. It is very easy to use and designed for durability. Whether you're blending a basic smoothie or trying out intricate recipes, this blender is ready for the job. Its top-notch choice due to its elegant design, intelligent features, and handy self-cleaning capability. Despite the high cost, the product's effectiveness and durability justify the expense. If you are truly committed to blending, this is the perfect blender for you.

    An Amazing Blending Experience

Posted by Donna Garcia on Dec 8th 2024

Vitamix, a brand known for its premium quality kitchen appliances, continues to deliver blenders that appeal to both professional chefs and home cooks. At first glance, the Vitamix Ascent A3500 impresses with its sleek and modern design. The stainless steel blades are laser-cut and designed for durability, and the jar is made from BPA-free plastic, which, while not as durable as glass, is much lighter and safer for everyday use. One of the best elements of the A3500 is its self-cleaning function. After using the blender, simply add a drop of dish soap and some warm water into the jar, and the blender can clean itself in under a minute. This is an invaluable feature for users who blend regularly and don’t want to spend too much time cleaning up. The Vitamix Ascent A3500 boasts a 2.2-horsepower motor, which translates to around 1440 watts of raw blending power. This level of power allows the blender to handle just about any task you throw at it. One of the areas where the A3500 truly excels is in its ability to pulverize tough ingredients like nuts, seeds, and ice. Many cheaper blenders struggle to achieve a smooth texture when processing fibrous vegetables or hard ingredients, but the A3500 effortlessly blends them into a silky, consistent finish. This is particularly evident when making green smoothies; kale, spinach, and other leafy greens are processed down into a drinkable liquid without leaving any fibrous chunks behind. MY favorite recipe is 2 bananas, a cup of spinach, a cup of frozen blueberries, and a bit of water. An amazing way to start the day. In addition to the variable speed control, the A3500 also comes with five pre-programmed settings: Smoothies, Hot Soups, Frozen Desserts, Dips & Spreads, and Self-Cleaning. These programs are designed to take the guesswork out of blending; simply select the program you need, and the blender will automatically adjust its speed and blending time to achieve the perfect result. For busy individuals or those new to blending, these settings can save time and ensure consistent results. The pre-programmed settings also help with multitasking in the kitchen. For instance, when making a smoothie, you can select the smoothie program and walk away to prepare other ingredients while the blender does its job. The result is perfect every time, without the need to monitor or manually adjust the blending speed.

    High-performance blending - perfect smoothies!

Posted by Samantha Hall on Dec 5th 2024

Quick Overview ================================= Call me sheltered when it comes to blenders, but apparently I didn't know that in the world of high-end everything, there are also high-end blenders! I'm used to electronics and cars, but this was new to me. This Vitamix Ascent X4 is a top-tier blender that promises premium performance. Let's see how it performs in the real world. Overall build ================================= This Vitamix Ascent X4 is a heavy, sturdy blender. Yes, the main pitcher is plastic, but it is dense and my other top-of-the-range competitor also uses a plastic container. In this case, it's a taller, narrower one then my multi-purpose food-processor machine that currently takes up space on my counter. The base is weighty and I like the central knob and display to directly dial in your choices without making everything a touchscreen. The lid of the pitches stays on firmly and it comes with a large (but hollow) plastic tamper to push your ingredients down when needed. It even comes with a small tamper stand that can affix to the left or right side of your blender. There's a small power switch on the lower right edge if you want to turn it off. Otherwise it stays "idle" and displays a nice spinning animation on the front display. The pitcher itself is dishwasher safe, but since the Vitamix comes with a cleaning mode, and that's what they recommend using, I decided to go that route. Just a drop of soap, some warm water, and let the cleaning cycle do its thing! This thing is high-powered but smooth! There was very little vibration as it ramped up speed. Performance ================================= OK onto the test! I did spend a few minutes reading the instructions and guide since it does recommend a certain way to "feed the machine" when making certain things. For a smoothie, it recommended liquid first, then some ingredients like fresh fruit, then ice or frozen fruit at the end. I loaded up a pitcher just like it described, placed it at the top, selected the picture of the smoothie, then pressed Play! It started slowly then ramped up to max speed quickly! It's loud, but again, very smooth. There was no vibration or shaking. The timer is nice since it counts down until your smoothie is done. You also have the option of pulsing or adding time to it. There's also an indicator if you need to tamp down some things. At the end of the time, all of my chunky ingredients turned into a perfectly liquid smoothie! I did NOT expect to be this impressed, but there was a pretty big difference between this Vitamix Ascent X4 and my old food-processor/blender which left my smoothies, well... not smooth. We whipped up some more smoothies and decided to wash it for the night. Again, cleaning mode really comes in handy here. The next day we tried grinding coffee, nuts, and even making some pesto with fresh basil. Nothing was a challenge for this thing and the coffee and nuts turned out much nicer and more consistent than my old device. There was no contest. Conclusion ================================= You know that saying, "you get what you pay for"? Well, it's not always true, but in this case, it is. This Vitamix Ascent X4 is the "Cadillac" of blenders with the performance of a Ferrari. It's super-powerful, smooth, easy to clean, and fast. I usually had to spend additional time with my old device to try and get my smoothies less chunky. With this Vitamix, you just put your stuff in, select your smoothie, and walk away for just 1 minute. That's it! When something like this comes along and really makes your life easier AND saves you time with its performance and easy cleaning, it's a win-win. Highly recommended!

    It's a masterpiece!

Posted by Daniel Bennett on Dec 2nd 2024

This Vitamix is a masterpiece of a blender. I bought my first Vitamix in 2010 and gifted it to a friend in 2021 when I moved across the country. He is still using that Vitamix today, 14 years after purchase. This new Vitamix is a substantial upgrade from my original one, featuring smart functionality, an LED display, recipe presets, and a tamper holder. The device is incredibly easy to use, with intuitive buttons and a self-cleaning mode. Its blending power is remarkable, effortlessly crushing a container full of ice in seconds when making smoothies. I used this Vitamix for my son’s lemonade stand this weekend, blending real lemons, limes, and a container full of ice to make lemonade smoothies. They were so popular that I had to make two more pitchers, and my son made over $70 selling them. I really love the self-cleaning program; it makes cleanup so much easier. I can just set it and walk away, then come back, empty the container, and I’m good to go! Quality-wise, this blender is unparalleled compared to any other brand I’ve used. Immediately after unboxing, you can tell how high-quality it is by the heaviness of the base and the thickness of the power cord. The entire blender is surprisingly low-profile, just barely fitting under my kitchen cabinets. I was really concerned it wouldn’t fit, but it does! Overall, I couldn't be happier!

    Vitamix the Blending Workhorse

Posted by Robert Green on Nov 29th 2024

Same amazing quality you’ve come to expect from Vitamix, with an updated base. This is my third Vitamix in 20 years and I have never found a negative to say about them bc they are always finding ways to improve on their technology. Even adding a holder for the tamper which I would say was the only issue I ever had with it. I do wish that at this price point we also had 10 blending options, but I’m not loosing any blending modes with this unit. The base is a nice plus for us with the touchscreen, and with this upgrade we now have the ability to invest in some of the self detect attachments. If I had to find a negative, I would say that it BARELY fit under our cabinets with the stock 48oz container total is provided, which makes it difficult to slide out without hitting the container on the bottom of the upper cabinet when the rubber feet decide to stick onto the counter. Maybe one day they’ll finally make the base a bit shorter. I like the new container top compared to what was on my last model and the fact that the screen provides a digital timer and notification when the tamper is needed. It takes the guess work out of it. These blenders are work horses. Never loosing power, blades remaining sharp throughout the years. I highly recommend this if you’ve never had a Vitamix before and definitely if you feel like it’s time to upgrade your older unit.

Power, Precision, and Style: Vitamix Blender

Posted by Mary Evans on Nov 22nd 2024

I've had the Vitamix Ascent X4 Blender for a while now, and I gotta say, it's pretty impressive. This blender has been a great addition to my kitchen, and I find myself using it almost every day. It's got a sleek black stainless steel finish, and it looks really cool on my counter. The design is super modern and fits right in with my other appliances. It's sturdy too, so I don't worry about it moving around when I'm blending stuff. When it comes to performance, this thing is a beast. It has a 2.2 HP motor, which is super strong and can handle almost anything you throw at it. I've made smoothies, soups, and even frozen desserts, and it does the job perfectly every time. There’s no issue blending tough ingredients like kale or ice, which was a problem with my old blender. Everything comes out smooth and consistent, which is what I expect from a high-quality blender like this. The blender comes with a 48-ounce BPA-free container, which is a pretty good size for most of my blending needs. Whether I’m making a small batch or a larger one, it works well. The container has a soft-grip handle, so it's easy to hold and pour from. I also really like the tamper that comes with it. At first, I wasn’t sure if I’d use it, but it helps a lot when blending thicker stuff like nut butters or frozen desserts. The tamper even has a little spot on the motor base where you can store it, so it doesn’t get lost. One of the coolest things about this blender is the touchscreen and the preset programs. There are five preset options: Smoothies, Frozen Desserts, Soups, Frozen Cocktails, and Dips & Spreads. These settings make it super easy to blend different recipes without guessing at the right speed or time. Just select the program, and the blender does the rest. The timer feature is great too, so you don’t have to stand there watching it blend. You can just set it and walk away. Another thing I love is the variable speed control. It gives me a lot of control over the texture of whatever I’m making. If I want something chunky like salsa, I can use a lower speed, and if I want something smooth like soup, I can crank it up. The pulse feature is handy too when you need a quick burst of power. Now, let’s talk about the noise. This blender isn’t the quietest out there, especially at high speeds. But with a motor this powerful, it’s kind of expected. The noise is there, but it’s not unbearable, and considering how fast it blends, the noise doesn’t last long. One of my favorite features is the self-detect technology. It automatically adjusts the settings based on the container size, which is super helpful when you’re using smaller containers that you can buy separately. I like that I don’t have to worry about adjusting the settings manually, especially when I’m in a hurry. Cleaning this blender is also a breeze. It has a self-cleaning feature that works really well. All you need to do is add some warm water and dish soap, and it cleans itself in less than a minute. The container is dishwasher-safe too, but I usually just use the self-cleaning feature since it works so well. And because the blades are fixed, you don’t have to worry about taking them apart to clean them, which is nice. If you make smoothies, soups, or frozen desserts regularly, this blender is going to last a long time and give you great results every time. Vitamix even offers a 10-year warranty, so I’m confident this blender will last me a long time. One thing I do wish, though, is that the container was a bit bigger. My old blender had a 72-ounce container, and this one is only 48 ounces. It’s not a huge deal, but if you’re making larger batches, you might need to do it in two rounds. Vitamix does sell larger containers separately, though, so that’s always an option. Also, the blender is a bit tall and doesn’t fit under my kitchen cabinets easily, so I have to store it on the counter. That’s just a minor inconvenience, though. All in all, I’m really happy with the Vitamix Ascent X4 Blender. It’s powerful, easy to use, and easy to clean. Plus, it looks great in my kitchen.

A great helper with a lot of power

Posted by Melissa Logan on Oct 23rd 2024

My first Vitamix has not disappointed with its power, handling everything I've thrown at it, save for a few hiccups, without any issues in runtime, engine stalling, or efficiency. The self-clean cycle is my favorite feature. It works effectively, making me more inclined to use the blender. It may seem lazy, but cleaning a standard blade blender daily after a simple smoothie can be tedious. With this feature, a single cycle is all it takes to prepare for the next use. The X series blenders boast single-set modes like Smoothie, Dessert, Cocktail, etc. I tested each and was mostly pleased. My black beans were perfectly blended for dips, my "mocktail" was impeccably "shaken," the ice cream was creamy without being overmixed, and the sweet potato-based soup is a keeper—all achieved with a single click, no adjustments necessary. However, there was a minor issue with a smoothie batch where a full apple slice wasn't blended. It's a rare occurrence but worth noting for a blender of this caliber. Apart from the modes, the powerful processing remains in manual operation. For example, I easily made oat flour from rolled oats, effortlessly pulverized in moments. Finally, while all blenders are loud at high power, resembling a jet engine, the X4's modes 1-5 are relatively quiet, allowing for small batches to be blended without causing a disturbance. In summary, it's aesthetically pleasing, performs excellently, and is the most versatile blender I've owned. I'm excited to see what I can come up with next!

    Pretty much the perfect blender.

Posted by Amanda Williams on Oct 17th 2024

I have been thoroughly impressed with my new Vitamix blender! I have owned at least 2 blenders which I thought was the epitome high quality blenders. My last blender is one which has most of the features of my new Vitamix, yet somehow the Vitamix blows it away. I will start with the physical attributes of the blender. The base is very heavy and features a wheel to select your mode, and touch icons to run the blender. The pitcher is plastic and has a nice hefty feel to it and features a snap on lid. The snap on lid is much better than a rotating locking lid in my opinion. My only dislike is the rubber handle. It moves a little too freely for my liking and feels like gunk could easily get into it. The good thing is, with a little work, it can be removed for cleaning. There is also a large tamper used for helping mix some of the larger chunks or stubborn ingredients. The blender features easy to use modes, such as soup, smoothies, and even a self cleaning mode. I love the cleaning feature as all you do is fill half way with water, add a drop of dish liquid, and run the cycle. All you have to do then is rinse the pitcher. The motor is super quiet. The most quiet blender I have ever owned. The only thing that makes it loud is if you are blending ice cubes. Which brings me to my next point, the blending capability. I made several smoothies and they all came out perfect! None of the drinks I made had any chunks in them, regardless the ingredients. This includes fresh berries, frozen berries, and ice cubes. I whipped together a quick soup and used the soup feature and the liquid became very hot. It was a very basic cream based soup, but I plan to use this more and more in the future. The soup comes out nice and hot, and buttery smooth. Cleanup is a breeze each time I use it. It takes no labor at all. The base also features a rubber pad that allows you to remove and clean when there are spills. The rest of the base just wipes down for a nice quick cleanup as well. Overall, I absolutely love my new Vitamix blender! I keep coming up with new things to blend in it, much more than ever before. This weekend I am going to go shopping specifically with the intent to make new blended creations!
