Vitamix - Explorian E310 Blender - Black

Straight out the box I was able to put together and blend a smoothie. Super easy to use. With it's simplicity, you lack options. overall, I love it. I'm sad that it doesn't come with multiple container sizes and the 40 ounce that it does come with is a little small. However, I've noticed that for the things I use it for, smoothies, dips, it actually makes just enough. so I've over looked that size, plus I can fit it in my fridge if I have left overs and don't want to switch containers to store. I like that the container easily sits on the base. no need to sit and adjust to lock. easy on. easy off. warranty is 5 years. good but not great. great amount of power. the dial goes from 1 to 10 and there is a pulse and on off button. simple again but you have to read the manual to understand which level makes what. kinda confusing but I go on what im making and what it should look like. level 10 is plenty powerful. the black color is typical and good for any blender. it comes with a tamper. I've never used it but looks handy on certain stuff. just another thing to clean and it doesn't come with a tamper holder. so I just put it up and i'll bring it out, only if necessary. I don't think this blender stands out from other high end blenders but if you do decide to buy this blender for whatever reason, I'm almost sure you wont be disappointed. it does a great job at blending. comes with tamper. stout base but decent container size. super easy to use and store. if you want a blender with programs and different sizes and options, this might not be the blender for you.

This vita mixer worked great! I was able blend raw walnuts to a pulp in a smoothie without even soaking them first! As well as cashews!

The best blender I have ever purchased. Quiet, and blends amazingly well. I must say, if you purchase one, you won't regret it.

The best and worth the money. Love the self cleaning and the motor is so powerful. I use it everyday for green smoothies and healthy frozen fruit/veggie treats. Going to buy another for my daughter’s birthday. Makes a healthy lifestyle easier.

This was my first experience trying a Vitamix. Just looking at this Vitamix Explorian Series E310 model blender, you can see how well it's designed. Performance didn't disappoint either. Gee whiz, this Vitamix blender is one powerful machine! I'm sold. Now I get what all the fuss is about. Take the time to review the simple instruction booklet. Although it's pretty basic, fully knowing how to use this machine will save you any "oops" later. It also came with a little recipe guide, which I read over in order to ease into using the blender, and tried some of the recipes out. As the instructions caution, make sure to place the base unit on a flat, sturdy surface, away from anything you don't want to get jostled, such as glassware. On the Variable Speed Dial's highest setting of '10' this blender's powerful motor is working full throttle, and you not only can hear that, but also feel the mighty vibrations. Follow the steps, as directed, when adding ingredients into the blender container in the order as listed in the recipe and/or instruction booklet. Even after trying out this awesome blender, I still don't quite get how to use the Pulse feature. However, I did make some yummy Corn Soup, following the recipe in the book. Before trying it, I was doubtful about the claim that "the friction of the Vitamix blades transforms cold ingredients into steaming hot soups and sauces in less than 10 minutes - no stove required." But ... it really does work! Again, pay attention to the enclosed instructions with regards to the care and cleaning of this amazing machine. The blade assembly does not come apart! Be ever mindful when using the Tamper during blending, and only use the correct tamper to fit the size of your blender container. Make sure the container sets squarely on the centering pad, and that the lid along with the lid plug is in place, then you're good to go. Some notable features - the power cord is heavy duty, as are the rubberized lid and lid plug, as well as, the blender container itself - and even though it is made of plastic, the plastic isn't thin, brittle, or flimsy feeling like you'd expect to find on the more lower-grade, inexpensive blenders. You definitely do get what you pay for when purchasing a Vitamix, and this Explorian Series E310 model is totally worth it.

I love my new vitamix! I have made delicious, silky smoothies and hot tasty soups from scratch. I have never been more pleased with a kitchen appliance. The vitamix blends so smoothly and so quickly. My soups take less than 10 minutes to make. It's awesome.

I’ve wanted a Vitamix blender for a while now. My old blender’s (different brand) motor broke which was a disappointment as it barely last a year. I decided it was tome to splurge on a blender with high recommendations, made in the US, and had a guarantee. It was important that I get a good blender because I make smoothies everyday. Well, I’m sorry I didn’t get this sooner. It’s an excellent entry level blender to the Vitamix brand. There aren’t any bells and whistles and it’s manual operation which I don’t mind. I’ve had to adjust to the order of loading it up with ingredients as it’s different then the standard blender. This machine whips of smoothies in a minute or less - even with hard to blend ingredients. The results are smooth and taste delicious. I highly recommend this blender if newer versions are too costly and/or you want to see what all the fuss is about. You won’t be disappointed.

Great product, really smooth blender and it is not loud at all! This product is almost perfect, the only issue I've found is that it doesn't have an option for a smaller base (for shakes or smoothies). Other than that, this product is perfect for anyone who wants a quality product that will last for years.

Excellent Vitamix blender. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a well built and quality blending machine.
