4 Great Fridge for the Price
Posted by Patricia Nelson on Dec 1st 2024
The Fridge is working fine but it did arrive with a dent in the side. Due to the new restrictions for delivery the fridge was only delivered to our front porch and we did not remove the packaging until we got it inside. One unpackaged we discovered a dent in the side. Our old fridge was dead and since Best Buy canceled our haul away request (Even though we had moved that to the deck) we were stuck dealing with too much to deal with going through the process of ordering another fridge and losing our food. It may be the last appliance I buy from Best Buy though.

5 Perfect for Basement
Posted by Jennifer Mckee on Nov 14th 2024
I purchased this freezer for my basement to have extra room to store frozen foods. I love it because there is so much room in the freezer area and beats the small freezer drawer area in my kitchen fridge. The fridge has plenty of space as well. The price ans value of space is right what I was looking for. I would recommend this fridge/feezer combo.

4 Better than Frigidare
Posted by Jeremy Novak on Nov 13th 2024
After 2 years I could no longer live with the Frigidare that I had purchased. That one was noisy, wire shelves, few compartments, and totally disorganized. So far I love the Whirlpool. Seems like it is far more spacious, glass shelves, better organized and the freezer is even larger. It is so much quieter, and both the freezer and refrig. door close on their own. My other one very often stayed open, and I would come home to defrosted meat and ice cream. And the price was right. The Friigidare and Whirlpool are the same 18.2 size but the difference is like night and day. The handles on the Frigidare broke 3 times. Made of plastic. It was black, but my new Whirlpool is stainless steel, and the handles feel right. So far I am very happy with this new purchase. Only time will tell.

4 Servaciable refrigerator
Posted by Mark Melendez on Nov 8th 2024
This is used as an outside refrigerator in the garage that replaces pretty much the same model that was 10 years old. Having a refrigerator in South Florida that is not in an air-conditioned place is pretty hard on the appliance so I think 10 years is probably a decent amount of time to last. It would be nice if the temperature was not controlled by simply a button but rather controlled digitally. However, at this price point you can not expect more. I would recommend putting a temp gauge in the refrigerator to confirm you have the right settings.

4 Energy Star Refrigerator
Posted by Matthew Dalton on Nov 5th 2024
My old refrigerator was a Whirlpool, which was working well after 15 years, but NH Saves audit suggested I get a newer Energy Star model. I found that this Whirlpool was rated with a yearly cost of $49, far less than anything newer and fancier (mostly $60-$80 a year) and the cost $599.99, was far less than any of the newer ones, which were $1,000-$2,500. Delivery was ok, but the guys were ready to leave without changing the door from right to left hinge. They finally did. They didn't raise the front legs so the door swings open and slams on top of my foot. The fridge drawers seem much lighter plastic than the old one and may break easier. It seems to hold more than my old one and is the same size, so better designed interior. I wish a gallon of milk would fit on the door like my old one.
