I’ve been using the Whirlpool fridge filter for a few months now, and I’m really impressed. The water tastes noticeably cleaner, and it was super easy to install. Knowing it’s certified to remove contaminants gives me peace of mind, and I feel it’s worth the price for the quality it delivers.

4 Today’s Refrigerators and Filters

This filter came originally with my Whirlpool refrigerator and I think that it does a good job however, it’s lifespan to me is short. I also do not like having to flush it with so much water from the refrigerator every replacement period of 3 months. It’s hard to determine if it’s cost-effective based on the price of the filter and the amount of water that must be discharged in order for it to do it’s job water for 90 days. I think that these units should come pre-flushed prior to purchase therefore saving gallons of water that you cannot use after flushing period.

5 Better results than less expensive options

I've tried other less expensive filters, but the Whirlpool EveryDrop seems to last the longest and produce the best results as it pertains to the quality of the water and ice. I would love for the filter to last longer, but as I've said, this filter appears to last longer than the other less expensive options.

Exactly the same as the factory one i replaced. I did run around 30oz of water after replacing to get air out, the water sputtered a few times, but i expected it would that's why i ran it. Took a pic of the specs of my fridge and showed it to Best Buy and they were able to show me which filter to get. Easy to replace and water taste great.
