It's the filter that fits my Kenmore Ice Maker. Best Buy had the best price. The only downside it I might have bought a different ice maker if I had known how many filters it would eat on a regular basis.

Works great in our Whirlpool ice maker. I've learned to replace it when the machine says "order" and before it turns to "replace." But that could just be our water.

I have a Kitchen-aid ice maker and this is the filter that I needed to use. The filter works great but at $50 it should last for more than 6 weeks. I went through two filters that both lasted only 6 weeks each. I hired a plumber to test our water and he said it looked good and there is no reason it should be clogging the filter so fast. I ended up just installing a whole home water filter so I no longer need to use these. It would get expensive fast.
