2 It sucks, literally
Posted by Martin Griffith on Dec 9th 2024
This portable air conditioner does put out cold air, and keeps the room cool, but does have some issues. When purchasing a dual hose portable air conditioner, one might be under the assumption that if there is an intake and exhaust hose, it shouldn't create negative pressure like a traditional one hose portable air conditioner, right? Wrong. This air conditioner, while it does pull SOME air in through the intake, does not pull nearly as much air as it is exhausting, which then creates negative pressure. I first suspected this might be the case as the intake hose was smaller than the exhaust hose. Unfortunately due to the air conditioner creating negative air pressure, air from warmer places in the house is then brought into the room, and the AC can only barely keep the room the same temperature, barely cooling it after many hours and wasting electricity in the process. If you have an air tight space you want to use this, it MAY work as intended, but as for me, the room this is being used in is not perfectly air-tight and as a result, lead to issues in cooling the room down. In the end, I hoped this design would have the hot and cold sides completely separate using the hoses as the "window to the outside", but unfortunately that is not the case.

1 Installation delayed a month
Posted by Brandon Hall on Nov 19th 2024
It's not set up yet! I had an afternoon appointment weeks in advance. The day before the installation I was called and told that they were arriving at 9am ONLY. I was told to wait June 24th to July 27th. Over one month and halfway through summer. This has been very stressful and I ordered multiple items and am enrolled in Totaltech. Totally a major bummer.

1 Terrible
Posted by Joshua Mcmillan on Nov 17th 2024
Nice looking, not very loud, but will not even cool my 170sq. living room. I ran it for 7 hours. It was about 86 outside, and would only cool my closed off living room to 83. The bottom drain is at floor level, so you can't get anything under it to drain it. The top drain I added a hose to and put a bucket under as there is no where else to drain it to. There is no hole for a hose in the window piece, and I doubt if it would drain uphill as it sits below the window. Not worth the money. I'd like my money refunded.

5 A great choice.

This was a great investment. It's pretty quiet and actually cools the room down as opposed to the single hose air conditioners.

5 Very pleased
Posted by Ryan Jones on Nov 4th 2024
I am very happy with this unit! I live in a studio and it cools the whole place quickly and efficiently. Quiet enough to run at night if need be which I was concerned about since my apartment is smaller, but it is just like running a normal fan.

5 So far, so good!
Posted by Hannah Carroll on Nov 1st 2024
I've only been using the portable air conditioner for about a month but it has been wonderful. It provides a "softer" cool temperature than the window unit I previously used. I do have to set the temperature about two degrees below where I want it but it is no problem. I have not needed to drain any water at all, even during the few days of 90* heat Vermont was experiencing.

5 Air Conditioner, Indoor Portable w/2 hose venting
Posted by Cameron Parsons on Oct 30th 2024
Quite happy with the performance and look of this Indoor Portable Air-Conditioner, I checked the online reviews and compared for the 2-Hose model. The 2-hoses, for Intake of outside air for air-cooling the compressor and motor, then venting heated air Exhaust save time and money in cooling the room. A little more money than the next single hose style, but air-conditioner does not have to cool the heated air it makes or draw outside hot air into Apartment to replace the heated air it makes for air-cooling the motor/compressor, then vents through single hose.
