5 Another great purifier from Blueair
Posted by Joe Tapia on Dec 8th 2024
You can't go wrong having a HEPA air purifier in your home. This is my second Blueair air purifier, and you just can't beat the amount of features you get with these purifiers. They constantly monitor the air quality of your room and automatically (if you set it to Auto) switch to the appropriate setting to quickly clean the air. The ComfortPure is a competent air purifier in a compact size. It's just the right height to be at home on the floor, or up on a table. In fact, it has a handy built in carrying strap on the back that let's you move it anywhere you need to clean the air. It comes with an easy to use remote control, which will let you use all the functions and modes. The remote is intuitive and straight forward. You can also just use the touch control panel on the top of the machine. These controls are the same that the remote has, but you can also see which mode you're in and what the fan speed is set to. There's also a numeric readout that is multi functional and lets you cycle through the various filtration settings and temperature. You also get a WiFi icon to let you know your purifier is connected to your home network. There are two indicators on the front. The uppermost one is a visual indication of the air quality it's measuring and shows you via different colors. The smaller indicator below this one shows which mode the purifier is in. So in addition to the standard air purifier mode, there's also a Heat mode that filters the air and blows warm air out to help heat colder rooms. This does provide a generous amount of heat, and feels like what a stand alone room heater would feel like. The last mode is a Cool mode, which like the Heat mode, blows cool air into the room. The cool mode is great when you have an oven going and need some additional cooling in the room. Or if you have a tech heavy room like a computer gaming room or home theater that likes to heat the place up. While it's not like having an AC unit blowing on you, it does help to keep the air temperature down. The ComfortPure also has an oscillating feature. This not only helps to move more air around the room but you can actually set how much of an angle the purifier will rotate. One of the best things that's included is the Blueair app (when I say “included”, that means free to download). This is a very full featured and informative app. There's a ton of information and you can control it remotely and see what's going on with your air quality. The top of the app shows several things like purification, indoor temperature and humidity. Below that is a colorful graph that illustrates your air quality over time. You can turn the purifier on or off and set the mode you want, the fan speed you like and the oscillation. If you only want to run it for a specific amount of time, there's a timer to let you do that. There's even a filter life percentage bar so you can see how much life your filter has left. You can add schedules for different days and choose start and stop times. The HEPA filter is great for true air cleaning and will filter particles down to 0.1 microns. It will help to eliminate odors, bacteria, virus and mold. Anyone wanting to have truly clean air in their home will enjoy the benefits and features that Blueair air purifiers offer. Once you have one, you won't want to go back to not using one. The HEPA filter is easy to install/replace and is accessible from the back of the machine. Just pull off the magnetically attached vent panel, pull out the filter assembly and remove and install the filter in the holder. Blueair makes feature packed HEPA air purifiers that clean your home's air continuously and removes odors from cooking and other sources. Great product from a leader in the industry.

5 So needed in our home
Posted by Mrs. Penny Serrano MD on Dec 2nd 2024
This has been a great addition to our home care system. My family all suffer from seasonal allergies, and also we moved to a more seasonal climate than what we were used to (both cold Falls/Winters and hot Summers). This is also an agriculture city and an oil processing one, so we get a lot of dust and pollution in the air. We have used Blueair in the past and really liked their products, so we wanted to see how the ComfortPure 3-in-1 would benefit our family. Wow, are we impressed! The design is very nice and different than what we are used to in either a cool/heat air system or air purifier. This is not too small, not too large which is a nice size to fit in our Computer room, the room where both my teens utilize to play their computer games but is also my home office and serves as an additional bedroom. At 125 sq feet with hardwood floors, the air flow is not the best and the ComfortPure does an amazing job in cleaning out the air. I have noticed that the air feels more crisp and my son (who has the worse allergies amongst the four or us) has not been sneezing nor coughing nor other respiratory issues. That is a huge win for us! In regards to climate, it averages around 40-degrees F in the evening and about 65-degrees in the daytime this season. With the temperature settings, it does give a nice blast of warm air that rotates at 180-degrees, a nice arc of coverage. We all love that feature of double cleaning and warming simultaneously. The top of the device has the control center. It is a pretty simple set up with the fan display showing four blades indicating the speed. Night time, rotation, either hot or cold, ECO, humidity, boost purification, brightness and timer are just some of the icons that can be touched. If it is rotating, and you turn off the rotation, it will automatically return to the center. If you are using the App, all of these features can also be adjusted from the convenience of your cell phone. You can measure the Outdoor AQI and indoor room temp. There is also a meter that indicates the pollution level in the room and keeps track of it for you to observe. There is also a filter life status there for you to ensure the quality level left in that filter. The App also allows multiple Blueair devices to be controlled as well. Filter was easily accessible, especially if you need to replace it. AND....you can turn it on/off from the App. Hands-off is so necessary these days. Overall, after a few weeks of use, I feel that this is the best combo device out there. A must especially if you suffer from the seasonal elements or is sensitive to dust, smoke, and other airborne chemicals.

3 What a shame!
Posted by Ann Gibson on Nov 30th 2024
It’s so quiet. It’s so powerful. It’s just great. Well it was great. Can’t say that anymore, but we will get to that. It can warm a large space fairly quickly, as well as, cool it down. It’s great for purifying the room and leaving areas fresh smelling, especially after cooking. It has heated our entire open living and dining area in under an hour and fills our room with warm heat in less than 30 mins on its lowest speed setting. I can sleep peacefully without being disturbed by noise. Our small two settings heater made noise that I have learned to ignore and fall asleep to like it’s white noise. So this has been great to have quiet and undisturbed rest. When it gets too warm or hot, it’s easy to change it to cool mode and quickly make the room more comfortable in a breeze. My favorite feature is having the remote control, so we no longer have to get out of the bed at night to adjust or turn the unit off. It’s also not too heavy to move from space to space. It’s a great unit that fits into any space. You can also use its app to control the unit and see certain data about the air quality in your area and home. But this quickly became the issue with our unit. I waited a few days before adding the app, so this issue wasn’t apparent at first. The reason I’m taking away 2 stars is because a few moments after adding the unit to the app, it began to operate weirdly. It changed the temp on the units display to Celsius although the app shows it’s in Fahrenheit. The display went immediately dark and we had to touch it several times for the display to come back on. And when I turned it off from the unit itself the screen went dark turned towards the right and continued to operate, even though I pressed the off button. Also it isn’t clearly responding to the remote control since adding it to app. Now the device shows it’s on heat, but it’s blowing cold air. We are still having issues with the unit because of the app even though I’ve removed it from the app. I would stay clear of the app for now and just use the remote. It worked perfectly with the remote before linking the app. Biggest mistake. I’m hoping I can do a master reset of the unit because it was flawless prior to that. What a shame because I was going to highly recommend this.

5 Great Air Purifier Plus Heating And Cooling
Posted by Ricky Harrison on Nov 22nd 2024
Blueair has another well made air purifier with their ComfortPure T10i Air purifier. The T10i uses a large HEPA filter that is easy to replace when needed. There is a screen that is also used to catch any larger particles of dust. The screen can be easily cleaned periodically to ensure proper air flow. It comes with a remote and Blueair also has a companion app that can be installed on a mobile device. Construction The T10i is well built for the most part. There is a panel on the back that, when removed, affords access to the screen and HEPA filter. The panel is made of light plastic. I would have liked to have seen that made of thicker plastic, but I didn't have any problem removing it and putting it back on. I won't be removing the panel often. Only when I need to clean the screen or replace the filter, so I don't think that is much of an issue. There is a strap type of handle on the top back of the purifier. Blueair's choice of using that for a handle seemed to me a little strange. I would have expected an indentation like handle, but there may have been some issue that could have prevented that from being molded into the case. I also don't think that is a big issue as I won't be moving it around. I set it in place and that is where mine will be staying for a long time. Performance Blueair has made the T10i a 3-in-1 air purifier. They've added in a cooling feature, heating feature, and standard fan. The heating feature works well as does the cooling feature. Whatever season I'm in, I can utilize the appropriate one. The heating and cooling feature are either on or off. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the option of auto when set to cool or heat. It would have been much better if Blueair would have made it possible to set a desired temperature and had the system change the air temperature to be what you set it to. As it is, there is no thermostat setting. The display on the top will show you ambient temperature, but that is all the that is for. It doesn't allow you to set a desired temperature and have the ComfortPure auto adjust to bring the ambient temperature up to or down to whatever you set. I hope Blueair will add in that feature for future iterations of the ComfortPure T10i. I found the amount of heat it will generate to be good as well as cool air when using the cool setting. I also utilize the included remote which is helpful as sometimes the T10i will make a sound while oscillating and when I'm trying to sleep and it does that, I use the remote to turn it off. I'm not sure why it occasionally makes the sound, but I just use the remote to turn it off when it does. The sound it makes is only over about 20 degrees of arc. I have it set to 180 so a small portion of that arc is where is makes the sound. Other than that, it is very quiet. It has performed well save for the occasional sound which is only noticeable to me if I'm trying to sleep when I have it in my bedroom. App Blueair has an app that will allow you to connect to the T10i. In the app, I can set the various settings including setup scheduling for it. I can see a graph of air quality over the current day, past week, or past month. It also shows me indoor temp, humidity, 2.5 particle detection level, and outdoor air quality. It keeps up with the status of my filter and gives a remaining air filter life in percentage. I can also set various operating settings such as auto, fan speed, cooling, boosted purification, etc. I'm not able to turn on the heat feature from the app, so I have to do that with the remote or on the top where to touch display is located. Final Thoughts Blueair's T10i is a great air purifier with a few added features. I like that it can cool or heat while running. I would like to see the ability to set a thermostat to a specific temperature and have the T10i auto use cool or heat to maintain the temperature in a room. That is the only complaint I have about it, but the performance and other features are good. I'm looking forward to seeing what Blueair comes up with in the future. If you are looking for a good performing air purifier with HEPA filter, good features, and both heating a cooling capabilities, then consider Blueair's T10i ComfortPure air purifier.

5 Great all in one unit
Posted by Bradley Buchanan on Nov 15th 2024
The Blueair ComfortPure Most Powerful 3 in 1 HEPASilent T10i Air Purifier: Heat + Cool + Purify is an excellent and very full featured three in one unit. It's overall size is small compared to other air purifiers I have used. The inclusion of the remote and ability to use an app as well make it very convenient to use. As a purifier it is plenty effective for a large living room which is how we are using it. It is quiet enough to forget it is there. You will hear it, but it isn't obtrusive sounding. The purification is claimed to be very fast (99% in 12 minutes) and I have to reason to doubt that. But the added ability to use it for heating is great now that the winter months are here. With it being controlled by the remote or an app, it makes it very easy to stay cozy on the couch and make the room comfortable without even getting up. We have several purifiers in the house in different rooms. This is our second Blueair. Even though it is smaller than our others, it would seem to be every bit as efficient. With all the features that are included, it is really like having a whole-home heating, cooling and purification system but just for one room (or a small house or apartment). Highly recommended.

5 High quality air purifier
Posted by Stephanie Bradshaw on Nov 5th 2024
I’ve been using the Blueair ComfortPure 3-in-1 air purifier for several days now. I got it for my mountain cabin which always has kind of a “cabiny” smell to it, I’m not really sure exactly what it is but it has a distinct smell all its own. After running the Blueair that smell has dissipated and almost vanished. I’ve never owned a quality air purifier until this one and it definitely makes the air inside the cabin smell fresh and clean. We actually got the air purifier just prior to Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving Day I was testing it out, our inside air quality was in the Blue zone (meaning excellent air quality). Then my wife was roasting the turkey and apparently our stove needs cleaning because smoke started to fill our house. The air purifier changed to Red (poor air quality) so I cranked up the speed to max (and opened a few windows). After about an hour the air quality was back in the Blue zone and the smoke smell was gone. Our cabin sits at +10,000 ft above sea level, it gets quite cold up there so the Heat mode has been a pleasure and helps keep the main living room cozy. In the Summer we have no air conditioning and the Blueair also has a cooling mode so I think that’s going to be quite helpful. We also get a tremendous amount of pollen coming from the pine trees around July and I’m hoping it helps with that, too. The app works well, easy to adjust the settings and provides useful information regarding current air quality both inside and outside of our cabin. Overall, I’m quite pleased with the performance and functionality of this product and definitely recommend it.

5 Perfect for small spaces!
Posted by Michael Singh on Nov 1st 2024
This is one of 3 Blueair purifiers we have, with one on each level of the house. But this one is my favorite! I keep it in the finished basement and it's perfect for the room size of roughly 250-300sqft. The look is sleek and modern, so it fits in well with the furniture and doesn't look out of place. Since I've had this, we've seen some big temperature swings. When it was warm, I tested the cool air feature and while it's not AC, it's a very noticeable cool air with less noise and blast as a fan on high. Even on high, this is quiet. Recently we've had temps dip below 20F, and since it's in a basement, I have used the heat to take the chill out of the air. This thing kicks out a nice even heat and on high, will make the room more comfortable in about 10 min or less. The remote is simple and intuitive, but I primarily use the app to control it. I love the nearly 360 degree turning radius ( I think it's 340?) to get full coverage when needed. You can also dial that in to 180, 90, 45 or stationary. Very functional! Overall, this combo of air purifier with cooling and heating is a winner. I highly recommend!

5 Does it all!
Posted by Nancy Mathews on Oct 30th 2024
The Blueair ComfortPure T10i is the second Blueair product I have in my house, and as much as I like that first one, this one is even better. If you are like me, you might well have a room with an air purifier, oscillating fan, and space heater. This air purifier becomes an all in one solution, combining all 3 capabilities into one stylish and unobtrusive product. Since I already had a Blueair air purifier, setup was very easy since I already had the app and an account. Before turning on you have to open the filter compartment and remove the filter’s packaging before replacing it, so the actual physical setup is just a minute or two. The HEPASilent filtration system, according to Blueair, is capable of removing 98.1% of airborne pollutants. Once you have app setup completed, you can control the device in three different ways: via the top touch panel, the remote control, or via the Blueair app. The app’s one limitation is the ability to initiate heating, which is noted as prohibited by regulation. All three are intuitive and easy to use. The fans, even set manually to maximum, are still pretty quiet. In normal operation, you’ll barely notice it, if you notice it at all, especially if your air is otherwise clean. It can clean the air of a room up to 420 square feet in 30 minutes according to specs. Oscillation can be customized with the app, with settings for angle/speed/direction. The cooling function is not an air conditioner; it’s just pure air flow serving more like a fan. However, the heat is indeed from a heating element, and it can warm a small to medium sized room pretty well. The heater comes with automatic shutoff to prevent overheating as well as an anti-tip sensor. My experience with it has been great–it replaced two devices in our bedroom: a bulky space heater and even bulkier air purifier. As colder temperatures have set in, the heating function has been especially nice, and when warmer weather returns the fan output will be handy. It’s super quiet if you want to have it in a bedroom and noise is a concern. (Or you can turn the fans up if you like a little white noise). Especially in cold and flu season, we like having an air purifier in the bedroom to not rebreathe germs. If you are looking for an air purifier that can perform multiple tasks, this is well worth your consideration. Recommended.

Blueair - ComfortPure 3-in-1 HEPA Silent T10i Air Purifier: Heat + Cool + Purify The Blueair T10i is recommended for rooms up to 450 square feet. It is a three-in-one unit that cleans the air with its HEPA filter, while at the same time, it can also be a small space heater and cools with a fan using a dual Jetstream system. TripleFlow Hot and Cool technology with three unique outlets ensure cooling and heating and a purification mode is optimized to deliver purified air and airflow to keep a room comfortable no matter the season. It comes with a small remote, and you can install an app for your Apple or Android phone and a manual setup on top of the unit using the device interface. It can be run stationary, or you can choose your best angle through oscillation options of up to 350 degrees. The rotation degrees can be set by the user in the Bluair app, which also has advanced personalization like Alexa/Google Home voice control, setting a schedule or timer, controlling brightness, or you can set up ECO mode for reduced energy consumption. The unit has a nighttime mode, which optimizes the unit for quiet operation and low light-level output. Pros: •
